Hi Roy... Haha... thank you very much 👍👍 We are all fine thanks... I hope that you and yours are all well in Kentucky... God bless you and your family... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Nice fish. When I wanted to add burn lines I didn't like the handle wire idea and so I took a cheap coping saw and use it to hold the wire. I can get pressure and I'm never around the wood. To get a variety of fish you could permaglue the 2 pieces and then split them with a saw to get 2 tone fish. Thanks
Another fun project Andy! I went out to the shop and made a pair right after I watched this. (My mail lady appropriated them within the hour. ) Thank you!
Hi Matt... I'm glad that you liked them... Haha... you must have made a great Job of making yours.. well done... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Hi Andy I was wondering if you could advise me a friend has asked me to make a vase for his wifes grave I made a vase of sorts then was advised by a friend that if water and flowers were put in it it would rot what should i do to solve the issue?
@singe1978 Hi Singe... If you could find a glass or plastic container that fits inside the vase ... Or you could coat the inside with an epoxy resin, which would be waterproof ... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Sweet! An animal turning I can really like. Gluing the pieces is easier with plain yellow glue and a brown paper bag center in the sandwich. Not necessary to flood the joint, just a thin coat on both. After turning, just apply some water along the seam, the paper will give up and all you need do is sand on a belt or disk.
Hi Lewis... Yes.. I totally agree with you... that is a great way to hold two pieces together temporarily... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
