    Best way to save money is to use your credit to buy CCUs, melt them, and then sell them on the gm. Take the change, and then use it to buy what you want, for 'free'.
    This is how you 'cash out'.

    • @K1ng_ChAo5
      @K1ng_ChAo5  2 месяца назад

      You can certainly do that and it works, but not everyone wants to get that involved with buying a ship they want. Great way to make side money for sure though.

    For everyone who played EVE Online should know how often and easy you could lose your ship.
    Its cool play a game that you like.
    Ofc starter pack its good.
    But what if you not mega PvPer and PvEr and want just play on relax mode.
    LTI will give you a bit easier mode.
    Ofc after all upgrades of any ship LTI will be much worse that upgraded.
    But lets say if some ships will be hunted. And they will be. Its cool not to waste 30-50kk of game money.
    Easpecially when you easning them like 10-100k per hours depends of your gameplay.
    I dont think that 30-50kk will be easy to get.
    That will be (I think similar) to EVE Online as to easrn on dread or cap ship. You dont want loost that ship easy and randowly.
    Also I think most explorers ships are gream as LTI.
    Any. Fighers, Carriers, Explorations. Even pirates(any ships for pirats). All of them are high risk to die.

      Good details and insight here. Thanks for the comment and I think the idea of not needing to grind after a wipe is why most are pledging ships. Nice to have something you know will never disappear.

    Next to SC and SQ42 the CCU-Game is the third game played in the SC universe. 😀 To make it really worth for bigger ships You need to collect Warbond-CCUs for 1-2 years. And then the IAE in november is the time and opportunity to put it all together. Because during that time all ships are available to buy.

    It’s not about tool, it's about the logic why and how CCUs can get you designated ship with big discounts. I’d just figured out how it works and just do it in Excel, much better to manage your CCU chains

    • @honey-fe6pj
      @honey-fe6pj 2 месяца назад +1

      Does doing it via Excel save any extra over the CCU Game app? I do find i need to play around with the CCU Game to ensure it gives me both the cheapest and most sensible route to discounts but i have saved a ton using it :)

    • @Swill880
      @Swill880 2 месяца назад

      @@honey-fe6pjI e played around with the app and I may be mistaken, but it doesn’t do a sufficient job predicting future CCUs. And it definitely doesn’t predict price changes. So I’ve found that getting a list of ships with the current price, warbond price based on past offerings, and whether it’s a concept or not helps me establish the longest and most cost effective chains. I’m not usually in it to get a ship over one event. I focus on the year ton2 year game

    • @K1ng_ChAo5
      @K1ng_ChAo5  2 месяца назад

      Yes, many people now playing SC aren't even sure what a chain is at this point and CCU Game does a great job for choosing options and making selections so people can see how they work. Keeping it simple and fast for the people that don't have that kind of time for creating spread sheets is also very key to most people.

  • @fearstreak7462
    @fearstreak7462 2 месяца назад +1

    Since i havent bought the game before, i will always have to buy a game package to get a license, before i can CCU chain for stand alone ships right?
    Then for the purpose of future CCU chaining, is right now the best time for me to buy a starter pack? Am i correct in thinking that the WB for the Invictus Avenger Titan costs me 55$ while the CCU value of just the ship is 60$? (Meaning im not paying extra just for access to the game and my 55$ translates to 60$ worth of potential CCU Chaining, right?)
    In other words, can i expect there to warbonds that will also give me access to the game; while also potentially offering more value for CCU chaining?
    edit: nvm i asked on the SC discord, someone answered that the nomad warbond while being more expensive, disconds the CCU value of the nomad more than the avenger titan WB

    • @K1ng_ChAo5
      @K1ng_ChAo5  2 месяца назад

      That is correct. If the Titan is normally $60 and right now you can get it for $55 than you are saving $5 and the value when upgrading will be a $60 value. Right now the Titan also comes with the special paint so there is a small extra value to that as well. If you upgrade with the Titan to another ship, you will keep that paint.

  • @Ambassador_Kobi

    You are missing the point of that you should accumulate Warbond + speculative CCU's as much as possible, before executing those chains. You left all possible Warbond CCU's that will come later this Invictus sale on the table. Actually it seems you are just starting out with CCU chaining with the amount of LTI tokens and the little amount of eligible ships to melt.

    • @gami2406
      @gami2406 2 месяца назад

      Could you explain a bit more. I'm willing to learn but can't find anything online. What do you mean by accumulating Warbonds and speculative CCUs ?

    • @K1ng_ChAo5
      @K1ng_ChAo5  2 месяца назад

      This was to be as basic as possible and a more in depth video may be done later down the road. Since I stream on Twitch, many people didn't even seem to know the basics of the chains and I heard people just going out and spending hundreds without even trying to make a chain. This here will help save even $10 if they can. Thanks for the comment and yes, you are completely right about the warbonds!

      Actually that is not possible. Your pledged ships from RSI cannot be lost unless you gift them to someone and enter your RSI password and enter an email for that gift to be sent to so that is not actually possible and its completely safe. Never heard of anything being lost from anyone. Its simply to sink your hangar to CCU Game so its just trading the hangar data and that is it.
