Nice to know someone likes the Sterling. It doesn't look in too bad a shape. Shame they wont part with it.

Yes I was bummed but if I buy one I know there’s a stash of parts close by!

I worked for Rover from 90 to 05 so the Sterling is definitely from my period. In 15 years I only once ever fancied a Rover with my staff discount of 35% & when offers were on we could get a brand new car for half price. I wanted a Rover 220 Turbo Tomcat coupe. Couldn't find 1 in any dealership in West Yorkshire as I worked for Rovers automotive Foundry in Leeds ( West Yorkshire Foundry) I found a 6 months old demonstrator but that didn't entitle me to my discount. Cars had to be in stock in any Rover dealership unregistered. 800s wasn't that bad & 600s the rest were crap.

That Cadillac isn't the B body Fleetwood that shared mechanicals with the Buick Roadmaster. That is the front wheel drive C body Deville fron 1989 -1993.

I know. We looked it up afterwards. I was expecting someone to point it out.
