I love vintage hairstyles. There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING like a bit of everyday 60s class. It’s sad that these styles are no longer popular and instead we opt for hair that I certainly wouldn’t use to mop my floor.
God, it's okay to like and wear these hairstyles, but the bashing of other people is so low. Let's say they like the same hair you do, but can't afford it? Or maybe don't have the time or health for it? People are allowed to be individuals, too. You do your thing, let other people do theirs. Manners and compassion are always in style, so do better. Goodbye forever.
@@internetperson. first, of all dollar store rollers exist. second, I don’t think you gonna die from putting a roller in your hair. Third, my original comment was a joke. Fourth, I was joking about how a lot of women put in fake extensions. Fifth, I’m not apologizing if you are so offended go to the mirror and apologize to yourself.
2 questions 1. If you want to keep that hairstyle for a couple more days what do you do for bed time? 2. Can you share what lipstick you are wearing? Thank you!!
Oh my gosh can you please re-create Allie’s hair styles from The Notebook?? 😱 her hair styles were so beautiful and iconic and would be so interesting to watch you dissect it, and recreate. Would love practice them on my own too! 🤍🌸👛👠
That’s a great idea! I love that movie and she revisit it. Maybe try a more authentic verso. Of her hairstyles since they are a bit more modern looking
Thank you! A good cut is always helpful with these styles. I’ve been slowly taking length off my hair and it has helped a lot. I’m tempted to it is short as well!
New subscriber here from the UK. I am thoroughly enjoying watching your videos. They are really helpful ! You look beautiful and your hairstyle looks wonderful 🙂x
I started setting my hair this week but I noticed my hair got really dry! What should I do? I don't what kind of products to buy, I'm a bit confused because I heard you are not supposed to use oil to brush out 😑 I love your videos!
Thank you! What are you using to set your hair? If your using a product you can dilute it with water. If your hair is getting dry when you reroll through the week you can just use water. It’s might be a specific product your using like something high in alcohol.
Hello, I have one question ☺️I know this video is over a year old, but I loved this hairstyle and wanted to try it!! But I have a sort of grown out pixie cut, so I was wondering if it’d basically just look stupid if I did it?
I don’t think so! You could style it a bit more curly and go for a variation on this style that gives the same vibe but more of the Italian cut with your shorter length
I'm going to try this even though I knwo it's difficult for me now. My hair is like midway down my back. I want to grow it out so if only I'd done this when it was shorter 😂. One day it'll be easier lol
I really want to do this hairstyle, but I have actual bangs, how should I incorporate these?? Because if I would use the foam curlers, they end up super short, I think
You could use a large roller, pincurl them, curl them to the side, pin them to the side, wear a headband and push them back. I guess it depends how long they are?
1. Continue brushing. Some hair needs a lot of brushing. 2. Bigger rollers make for an easier brush out, softer waves. 3. You can try spraying a tiny bit of water to relax the curls/frizz. 4. Pomade hrlps with the frizz. 5. I personally wear a hairnet/snood style the first day. My curls are also really tight so they sit happily in a hairnet, slightly brushed. Day 2 or 3 they start to loosen up and look more "glam". Day 4, 5 and 6 is usually perfect. Ido pin up bigger sections over night and wear a hairnet and scarf over night and slightly dampen it if I feel like I lose some curl.
Hello I also have naturally curly hair around 3b hair and I have a couple questions 1: do you wait till they are all dry? 2:do you use a setting lotion or gel because if not that could be a reason
@@MA-rn2xp yes so I suggest a light weight gel and put a small layer at the bottom of the spray bottle and rest with water and it dose the same job but saves you some money or get motions foaming wrap I love it I use it all the time comment on this if you have any more questions!
I wonder why you lied about switching “hair nets.“ There is no way you got a turtleneck over all of those curlers! It’s a totally different video. Which is OK, just be honest.
So happy to see someone with the same hair texture and thickness as me doing a tutorial for this. Very well explained, and it turns out perfect! 💖
Thank you! I’m so glad you found it helpful!

I love 40's, 50's, and 60's hair! Im going to try this for sure.

Love to do this hairstyle here

I would wear a net and a scarf or reapply a few rollers and sleep in a scarf. The lipstick is revlon love that red from 1951 😘

You look very pretty with the rollers at the end your hair is beautiful

Watching your videos is so soothing. It brings calmness to me. Will you recreate Jennifer Jones' hairstyle the night she won her Oscar in 1944?
Thank you! I’ll have to look up that style I’m no familiar with that actress ☺️
I bought the rollers and the hair lotion, and I’m ready to try this over the weekend ❤
Amazing! Happy hair setting!
Nailed it!!! Perfect recreation of the style :)
Thank you!
Very nice! Now I wonder how this would be for the curly frizzy haired people like me.
Such a beautiful look! I’m amazed at how healthy your hair is! How do you have zero breakage or fly-aways? Do you take hair vitamins?
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Wow looove it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A lost art❤

Can you tell me what the names of the brushes are you recommend again? For brushing it out?
@Mrstdupuy . Hi, What is the name of that D9 denman brush in the bio? 😊

i love this hairstyles so muche..and its so Beautiful but is it working for longer hair too? ❤❤🙏
It can work on longer hair for a more subtle brushed out look or you can wear a net or pin up the back for a faux Bob style
OBSESSSSSSSSED ❤
Where can you get everything that you need for the vintage hairstyles
Most of what I use if from amazon and vintagehairstyling.com
How big are your rollers? And if my hair is longer than yours can I opt for a smaller size? Thanks!
I find one inch to be a good size for the volume I like but you can try different sizes to see what works best
Lastnight I told my daughter that I would start using sponge rollers again.
Amei ❤❤❤❤

Hey, can I do this for the beach too? With the hairnet? will it last? To keep my hair from flying around :)
It will certainly help! You can always wear a hair scarf over the net if it’s really windy
Cover it with a scarf. Put Bobby pins in the side of your scarf to keep it secure if windy
When I brush out my curls they just puff up and get super frizzy I use 3 different sizes curlers I don’t know if that does anything! Please help!

Lottabody setting lotion
Where are the rollers from
Why doesnt this work for me?. I have natrually curly hair and when i do foam rollers and brush out my curls fall flat

Would it work with velcro rollers?
Yes! I would recommend using smaller ones. But that depends on your hair length
What size rollers are these ?
Just under an inch

Haha the turtleneck zips up the back 😘
That was a lot of negativity for a helpful video by a beautiful lady teaching hairstyling...
Is the annoying music really necessary?
Beautiful!
