This is so beautiful...made me cry at the end...this movie is an inspiration for so many people to have gratitude in their heart as long as they live...
As a disabled person, this movie was everything. Most movies about the disabled, particularly with limb differences or paralysis, are all about the hardship of the family, or the drama of if they live or die. It was a really great movie to watch, talking about a family that used their privilege to revolutionize medical care for the profoundly disabled.
This movie reminds me of my Uncle who was paralyzed only his face was functional and he can't breath without external support at that time their was no proper equipment so we used manual pumps he lived for half years he can't able to bear the depression and wished for mercy execution his two little kids were left without father sometimes life betray us
What a beautiful movie i almost cryed... Soo beautiful i dont think its a sad movie it had its sad sides but i think it was a good movie. He got to live his life and have a family. I like it. Ill watch it in the future. Ill add it to my list. Thx for the recap.
I applaud the filmmakers for bringing such an inspiring story to the screen. My only quip is, for many of these biography films, the one thing they often overlook is the ages of the person being portrayed. I mean, if Orsen Welles managed to age a man accordingly with make-up and prosthetics, why do modern studios film their actors looking youthful as they were first introduced. Besides the make-up department, a son’s tribute to his father is a moving picture from Jonathan Cavendish.
This looks to be a truly remarkable movie that I'm going to see as soon as possible. I know it has nothing to do with the story or the movie, but, did anyone else recognize the actors who also played Lady Olenna and Tommen on GOT?
Is there a movie where 'robin' struggled on his own to see his family again, got better and came home to see his family had subtituted him with another guy and completely forgot about him. Then he suicided at the end. 😭😭
Hollywood is always seeking to “wow!” audiences with very unrealistic stories. This one seems like real life, “he has a beautiful wife, a happy life…. And now he has Polio” 😅

Very great story 🤝🤝🤝🤝
The title is so misleading - poor - poor people do not fly planes, live in huge house ect...
Also his wife doesn't seems to work and yet they looked well-fed and well-clothed.
This movie is so touching 😢
