Somehow in my mc laren quest the straps are fastened in two places of the back and the lower fastening is a mystery to me. I also tried to somehow remove the clips from the straps which doesn't work at all.

Hi but what if the straps have a metal piece attached which i cant push through the holes at the back?
I'm sure this is too late for you but if any one else is reading this: You simply slide the hood part up! It slid right up when I tried it!
