- Mr. Incredible discovers a terrible secret...
This took me a hot minute to make man.
This is a parody of a scene from The Incredibles (2004). I made this myself. This video is not meant to reproduce The Incredibles, Kronos Unveiled, or the scene in any way and is meant to provide humorous commentary on logo oversimplification.
Thanks for watching.
I don't actually dislike the new logos. For the most part I think they look a lot better & cleaner than the old ones.
Except the Pringles one. Bring back his hair for God's sake.

Look how the massacred my boy
I disagree, most of the new designs look terrible

I just noticed you have half a million subs.
We don't watch cartoon network in germany, but I remember that from when i accidentally switched to it in 2003 or something.
Legit was about to comment that. It was all good till I saw that then my brain was just like you started with the first simplified logo for them
Cartoon Network was the 🐐
Yeah, Cartoon Network used to be really into Ska.
I like the fact that the logos that beat the simplifiers still get simplified, they just end up getting simplified even more
It's to follow "flat design". Even tho a lot of people hate it, it's actually proven to dramatically increase user retention

I was mad when they showed that logo as the Firefox logo. It's not the Firefox browser logo, it's the logo of Mozilla, the company who makes Firefox. Years ago, some random guy made a Twitter post saying it was the new Firefox logo, and somehow the entire internet freaked out, creating the "they killed the fox" meme, and somehow nobody decided to look at their browser icon to see that _their Firefox icon did not look like that!_ A bunch of people got irrationally angry at Mozilla out of nowhere, about a logo for Mozilla, not the Firefox browser, which they had been using for years, and which was made _with input from Firefox users!_ The fact that some people to this day think Firefox was trying to oversimplify their logo just makes me mad every time.

Everything moves in cycles. Eventually minimalism will be seen as unimaginative legacy from yesteryear, and designers will be jumping on the latest fad.
How many years?

@@fodebic5253 I was expecting a Rick roll. I am disappointed. However, you have recaptured the original intent of a Rick roll, so I must commend you.
Imagine a dystopian future where the term "logo" loses it's original meaning and people say "you mean color codes?" When asked about iconic graphical representation of a product.
Don't give them ideas.
You better have not just predicted the future
Actually the original logo meaning is "word", that is, the name of the brand, which can be designed with a special typeface such as the Coca-Cola logo. Brand icons like the ones shown in this video are not logos, but isotypes.
“You simplified all the logos just so you could..PRETEND to make one?”
Oh im real, REAL ENOUGH TO DEFEAT YOU. I'll give them logos, ill give them the most spectacular logos that anyone's ever seen. And when im old and i've had my fun ill SELL my PNGs so that EVERYONE can be logos. And when everyones a logo, no one will be

Genuine masterpiece.
The editing and text of the actual companies when mr incredible types them in is unreal
This is waaaayyy too underrated considering how well done it is
Where does the misconception of logos being simple is better?
Also... where does the misconception of things being popular mean they're good?

Great. The > in your ? may have been too complex for audiences.

Malboro is an oversimplified version of Marlborough. Soon it'll be Malbruh.
@@DellDuckfan313 and it will be Malbuh
I don't get it though. What does what have to do with its logo?
And I’ll simplify EVERY LOGO. And when everything’s simplified…… nothing will be

@@TheRafark more like millennial, but suit yourself
To be fair the old CN logo doesn't work very well for this joke because it was more simple than the 2000s one. They even brought it back for their modern branding beause of that.
Nowadays logos are simply becoming words written in Helvetica
Hey, can i get a number 9 here?
Facts. Companies like "Thinkific" or "Keeps" are just a word. SMH....
Burgershot. You might be wrong
That's not a new trend, actually. Helvetica has been the default marketing font since the 60s. Logos and fonts just got crazier in the 80s and 90s thanks to computer-generated graphics.
your pfp tho..
I don't know why, but the FNAF Phone Guy talking to Helen was the funniest thing I've heard all week.

So. You do don’t know FNAF lore?
Would you like to find out?
how to oversimplify:
remove shading
remove attracting details
remove eye catching things about a logo
add minimalistic designs
use unappealing colors
but still don’t be Petco.
Nahhh man. All of these look much better, cleaner, and more appealing. I wish the Firefox logo was still a fox but the new logo still looks good by itself. Logos should be a simple symbol that'd be easy to visualize or draw without worrying about detail. I think all of these were improved in one way or another.
You're right about Petco though. Wtf happened, Petco?
@@visualsforyou7120 the "new firefox logo" isn't the new firefox logo at all btw, just the logo of the parent brand I believe. People took a lie and ran with it
@@drink_bread I looked it up to make sure and wow, you're right. It's hilarious that the only logo in the video I took slight issue with wasn't even their actual logo. Thanks for telling me.

@@visualsforyou7120 I work with logos everyday, and flat vector logos are so much more versatile. I don't think every logo needs to be flat, but every logo should be designed to still look good with only two tone color.
