- In This Episode i take my Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift Doors to the amazing @vw technical college in Milton Keynes where i was able to compare my doors with the Real Movie Car!

I never expected people to hate the Tokyo Drift Touran. I for one always liked the thing.
I was the original owner of the doors... said they were not fake !!! I had them for years in storage.. you know your going to build it !!!

please done replicate the trunk opener, it can be programmed to open electrical from the remote, or with some upgrades, it the be opened from a button on the drivers door
I've seen so many people say the touran from the movie isn't real because it's got octavia vrs alloys despite having to tell them vw own that car. Although pretty cool to say I ran the same wheels on my mk7 golf.

That's a cool and almost unique replica! You should do it and than swap engine, transmission and awd system from an Audi RS (rs3 or ttrs), people do it a lot on vw caddy, the touran has the same chassis, it shuld be not too much difficult.
I mean should be creazy to see this replica, maybe even with 7 seats and 4/500 hp and awd😅
We have one of the cars at Universal Studios in Orlando. I tried to buy it too, and I’m not sure if it went to auction or if they still have it. I’ll do some digging.

Wonder if Craig Lieberman can determine what car that was in the shooting of Tokyo Drift. Whether it was the Hero 1 or Hero 2 car. Would be cool to see if Bow Wow actually drove this car in the movie or if it was just for screenshots.
Seen this in the flesh last year at vw festival, also spoke to Jonny, nice chap although he did have a cowboy hat on 😂

I was at the NLC yesterday. And I drive a 200000 mile touran with a 1.9 tdi. Doesn’t look as good as that one though
Hi Sam, I seen this car many years ago in Portbury Docks in Bristol, it was before 2009 and I took photos but unfortunately they where on an old laptop which is now long gone , if was sat with another Tokyo drift car possibly orange one , long time ago , so they came into country via boat to Portbury

I remember when I was an apprentice there about 13 years ago & the hulk car was there 🤣
You need to run some polystyrene along the bottom to prevent any chips or damage lifting and carrying the door everywhere inevitable a chip will happen

3D scan both doors and compare it in cad?
Who built the original car, was it just for the movie? Are the fists composite or fiberglass? Were they molded as one piece of the door skin or a separate unit?
Who actually owns the hero cars from the films?

Not only should you build that car, but you should build the missing parts to finish the one at volkswagen
Scan it. CNC router out of foam. Make a mold.
Personally I’d repaint the doors but have it airbrushed like hulk fist tore the metal coming through the door.
The MK1 Tourans a very good car available in 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TDI in Ireland and the UK, reliable and sturdy.
I have (in Denmark) a MK1 with a 2.0 FSI gasoline engine, with 150hp, not many of them left, most of them are diesel

i thought that too. the seats are probably attached to a rigid mount just off the floor (so helmets fit)
Think doors are best kept as wall art, 2 doors don't make a car
I can tell by eye the fists are different sizes the original suv is much bigger

The Fast And Furious films are terrible, unrealistic dross though. The racing is so take that it's like nails on a blackboard to a true Boy Racer/Petrolhead!
