Whats funny about the Alienware is thats the medium boy, they get bigger and heavier. Dell/Alienware is a odd one with size. Those mATX units layouts are always meh, the bigger Area 51's ATX units are easier to work in and have more traditional parts. But the larger Area 51's I have seen literally crush there power cords if placed on top of them.
Dude got me dead when he said " a good CPU...a 5800x and 6700xt" thats quite a bit more than a good setup. If im not wrong wasnt the 5800 and 5900 rated as pretty much the best CUP's for gaming as well as when you pair it with the 6000 series gpu's
I still think that the case looks really cool, too bad it's a zero airflow trash, I'd probably drill a bunch of holes on it if I had one. I already managed to make my case have decent airflow (no difference between open/closed side panels, at least). Got a phantom 410 just 'cause it sorta reminds me of some alienware cases, just removed the hdd cage 'cause that's useless and made the rubber feet a bit taller.
A little ffffffffffff from the graphics card aint too bad. I think people put too much stock into noise. Yeah, if it's like a jet engine and it's right next to you on your desk, that's one thing, but if it's not too bad and you set it on the floor, you won't even notice it when you're in the zone gaming.
4930k should oc to 4.6ghz easy ... 4.7ghz should be possible with LLC ... and maybe 4.8 .. that was my cpu at 4.7 with 2 fan radiator wc, before getting back to amd and 3900x (no manual oc fun cause no real point of doing it manually anymore, but so much cores and low consumption has its big advantages)
Its a little louder than Mine LMAO.. I hate Nvidia and their prices since the 1080 series, and they lost their minds with the 2000 series pricing.. I guess I'll be able to get a 6800XT at MSRP in like 2 years.. Oh and don't even want to up grade to Zen 2 even tho I have a BIOS up to 3000XT chips because of pricing on everything.. I can't believe I have the money for the card and can't get it. And I'm not spending double to possibly get ripped by a scalper.. Screw that.. It's a sin because I went out and bought a Freesync 4K Monitor thinking when Navi 2 comes out I'll be good to go.. But Minor's messed that up..
Just an FYI, the reason that it’s gray is because it’s the same chassis as the Dell precision office PCs that Dell has so they can just reuse all the parts on Alienware systems. They use the internal chassis and just change the outer shell.

I love mine I swap out the mother board has a i7 7700k and 5700 xt with original water cooler .
What's with different RUclipsrs using old versions of cinebench do they not realize that r23 is free...
Got a phantom 410 just 'cause it sorta reminds me of some alienware cases, just removed the hdd cage 'cause that's useless and made the rubber feet a bit taller.
ayy thats my cpu :) running mine at 4.4ghz. pairs great with my rtx 2060
That is awesome that you fixed this Alienware!!!
Man I wish I could build and sell computers like you, but I work in hardware so it's a conflict of interest.
11:30 the case looks like a Ford Edsel🤣😂
What's wrong with gen 1 ryzen?
What I learned from todays video:
Cats cant be evil, look at how they react to long green things sneaking up on them.
Is That Kitt from Knight Rider?
Weird mine had no secure screws for the wifi
4930k should oc to 4.6ghz easy ... 4.7ghz should be possible with LLC ... and maybe 4.8 .. that was my cpu at 4.7 with 2 fan radiator wc, before getting back to amd and 3900x (no manual oc fun cause no real point of doing it manually anymore, but so much cores and low consumption has its big advantages)
Alienware has engineered a 3090 that's 10.5 inches that doesn't compromise on performance.
Its a little louder than Mine LMAO.. X370 Taichi, 2700X EFR, FlareX 3200 14T, Samsung 970EVO M.2 860EVo 2.5 Inch storage Drive NZXT H510, Thermal take 650Watt Semi Mod, and I am still stuck on an RX480 Because, the Vega/R7/5700Xt were garbage for price..
7:45 someone noticed that window appears at alienware logo on screen when he hits the case with his hand?
I want that computer I'll 2 cents for it...
That's 2 cents American not Canadian...
Just an FYI, the reason that it’s gray is because it’s the same chassis as the Dell precision office PCs that Dell has so they can just reuse all the parts on Alienware systems. They use the internal chassis and just change the outer shell.
I feel like it would be a whole lot nicer if they just did a new set up for the Alienware ones. Since the airflow seems terrible in those
Best cpu in that socket is the xeon 1680v2, its an 8 core overclockable xeon for that socket that was a OEM only cpu
theyre about 120-150 usd on ebay.
tried thermal grizzly liquid metal on the blower card yet?
Timmy "i fixed" Joe
the old look alone does not mean the bios is not uefi
Have had several Alienwares. All have been sound expensive gaming joys.
Would you do a Cinebench R20 with that CPU?
for £45 you can get a waterblock for it...not that something this old would be worth doing unless you want a super quiet system
Miss your videos
Running Win 10 on an Aurora R 3
How can you say it is fixed without RGBs?
Timmy Joe i am hoping u can pick up a voodoo pc and rebuild it or restore with modern components that would be an awesome video please! Ive always loved the look and build quality of those machines i dont think there is much like them these days. Thanks!

I'm not the only one that noticed. 🤣
I just took the plastic side panel and top panel off of mine lmao
100% sorta. So not 100% lol
Outside of their bad thermals. and the dumb proprietary parts, I think Alienware's are pretty good. Like sure they're bad on their prices, but I love the over the top designs of their cases.
Good job TJ!! 😉
