I adore flee markets. Every time I visit different countries I find a flee market and visit it. One may find real treasures there. Thank you for the wee excursion ❤
I love a good flea market! So many great finds there! We furnished my sister's home with antique glass doorknobs from a flea market. My wife found her "rocking chair" - that she used the whole time the baby was little - at a flea market. ❤
Russell, I truly appreciate you going through such great length to show this wonderful content! That was a long time just to get there, you rock! I really like those oval (teardrop) shaped mirrors at 27:47, they were beautiful! I also loved the variety of porcelain items (not china hehe) that they had. So many gorgeous things to see. Next time you go there, which I hope you will - bring your wife with you, I am sure she would like all that variety that they had. Btw, that "copper pot" 34:52 , as you said - it's a "scuttle" - it is used to transport and handle coal for your fire. I buy and sell online, vintage and antique items and I specialize in glass and porcelain. It's a fun side kick for me, a hobby that happens to make some money lol. Thank you again and I am looking forward to another fleamarket video!
Personally I would be looking for all the old Russian camera lenses. Some of them have rather nice visual effects. Not expensive and today you can buy adapters to put them on digital cameras. Searching and finding would be fun.
That car radios were from the brand Sabsarab Russell.A very famous brand in old russia. That market was already there in 1990 when i was living not that far away from there. My wife said to-many times this video. Look at that, would be a nice decoration. Great video again Russell.

After scooping up all that kitchen gear you can haggle to grab up that pile of old artillery ordinance stacked neatly on the ground right there next to all the other stuff.🤣🤣🤣
I love fleamarkets. In the summer there are loppishelg here in Sweden. An area comes together and have little markets in their yard or on their street. So you just drive around and stop every 5-10 min to hop out and see what trash or treasures you can find. In my area this year they gathered over 100 sellers all over. So fun to spend a few hours driving through the summer landscape and hopefully find some treasures. I absolutely loved the weekendmarket in the parking garage at Lismore square. We went there often when we lived in Australia. It was absolutely everything for sale there. We hope for nicer weather on the next fleamarket adventure you take us to.
@@TravellingwithRussell According to its website that market has been situated in Novopodrezkovo just since 2010. Following the other information given on its website, that market is the same as a market founded in 19th century in Kitay gorod (historical center of Moscow). But I trust it with pinch of salt. In my humble opinion this is just a legend. I attended both - Izmaylovo and Saltykovka during 80th, but even never heard about one written above.
Ahhhhh yes. Flea Markets, Swap Meets and Yard Sales. There was many a weekend mom and dad would drag me along with the faint promise that they might buy me something. What is funny was at 11:04 when the older gentleman waved, I couldn't help but wave back! Too funny! Going to someplace like this would be nothing but fun and adventure to me; more than fun because while I may look like the typical American, I speak Russian pretty well (read it and write it better though), so the fun would be waiting until someone said something and then responding in an offhand way in Russian. By the way, you DO know that it is pronounced Mosc-VAH in Russian. Right? Have had friends that swear I could walk down the streets of Moscow and sound like everyone else (I take that as a great compliment). Have also had friends (one of them Romanian) swear that I do not ACT American; to quote him, I "act civilized" and could fit in with most civilized communities. You see, not EVERY American is like the others!

The gradual blocking of RUclips started in Russia, where the authorities decided to reduce the playback speed of RUclips videos to 128 kilobits per second. However, this does not apply to Western bloggers who are compensated by the Kremlin for videos showing Russia thriving despite sanctions

I like flea markets. They remind people a lot of history.
And the wares are the same everywhere. Lots of dust and things you'd normally throw away with the occasional pearl in between.

I saw a Cosmo's Factory record by Creedence Clearwater Revival there. Creedence where popular everywhere.
Almost every record or music dealer has English language stuff. It seems to be even more popular at these flea markets than the Russian music.
You could start all kinds of collections with all this stuff.
For sure.
