Scuba Diving During a Thunderstorm! Mammoth Lake, Texas

Some friends of mine from CHUM (Central Houston Underwater Mariners) and I met up for a dip on a cloudy, dry day, hoping to get a dive in before any rain showed up. Unfortunately, it started to rain HEAVILY as we were kitting up and a huge storm raged overhead the entire time!
This didn't deter us though and six of us had a nice dip on this day. It was quite cold ( 60's) both above and below the water so those of us who had dry suits chose to wear them. I was very glad of mine!
