Moqorro is a great minor character. That scene at the end with him saying “it’s always red in Valyria” and his visions of Euron are definitely a highlight of Tyrion’s journey
Just posted on my Snapchat telling people how amazing you are! I listen to your reads every night, and they are practically a treatment to my sleep insomnia! 😊
i don't know which red priest i like more; thoros is hilarious and his flaming swords are sick, but moqorro the black flame is the real deal. what a badass
So sad I think that he's being manipulated by penny I think she is an assassin and spy for little finger . Just as He was manipulated by shae a spy for varys. I think Tyrion may see thew the act and kill penny or penny will try to kill maybe during the battle in the winds of winter. It wouldn't be the first time little finger tried to have tyrion killed during a battle and failed ( black water). She will most likely try to kill him, fail and then tyrion will kill penny. losing someone else he thought he could trust(shae And jamie) And then I think tyrion will turn full villain.
Tyrion raped a girl before being captured by Jorah and he keeps talking about raping and murdering Cersei and he sent Aegon west just to hopefully kill some Lannisters. Just all around a very nice guy???
@@shinjinobrave 😂😂 yeah he's definitely not a good guy. Could have been a great person but his upbringing turned him dark, he's an Lannister after all. But he's an reasonable man, and a very smart man. But not a good person, a.... Grey person. Nearly everyone on Asoiaf
@@shinjinobrave After all what Cersei did to him, can you really blame him for his desire to revenge ? Tyrion saved Cersei's ass in the Blackwater, yet all that evil bitch tries to do is to murder him not just once, but on multiple occasions. I know what Tyrion is desiring is wrong but it's understandable. You Tyrion haters always bring up the 'wanting to rape Cersei' shit against him whenever you run out of rational arguments.
Jorah Mormont is cringe. Brings shame to the OG Jeor. Wish Ned woulda caught up to him and took his head for sellin slaves. Lost all his wealth simpin for a gold digger. Now hes chasing a 14 year old who doesnt want him. One of the most annoying northerners in the series.
he doesn't care at this point. he told Jaime he did it out of spite and pretty much rolls with it from that point on bc the people he talks to aren't really of importance. I'm sure if asked by Dany or someone serious he'd tell them the truth
"Someone told me that the night is dark and full of terrors. What do you see in those flames?" I really want to know what Moqorro's true intentions are in TWOW.
My theory is Penny was sent by the Widow of the Waterfront to kill Dany. Hence beware the perfumed senechal; beware the crazy dwarf coming to kill you. Penny is a mummer after all and did try to murder Tyrion already. She seems to be manipulating him so when he gets in Danys inner circle, she’ll have an opportunity.
I’ve been listening to every chapter since the last three of GOT and I must say, you are amazing! This is the first time I’m fully caught up with your videos, and I was never disappointed.
Yea frl imagine a show that details the Targaryens rise to be one of the most dominant Valyrian families out of the 40 then their fall from grace and Daenys dream and it ends with us seeing the doom after they decide to leave
I think “the black blood of demons” that was raining down was dragon blood cause from HoTD we know dragon blood is black and it burns hence the demon part
The closer anyone gets to Mereen, the more boring their chapters get. Happened with Quentin, Dany and now even Tyrion. Victarion will probably finish me. Or the 10 Dany chapters of this book...
Hmmm, I wonder what the Sealord gave to Penny and Oppo... a courtesan? An iron coin? a lemon? It was quite weird the ending of their show for Joffrey's wedding, something tells me she's not as innocent as she seems to be. Also, I don't get why people think the Sailor's wife was with Gerion. Just because he had a bastard doesn't mean he was wanton, maybe he loved the girl but couldn't marry, and also, why he would go all the way down to Oldtown and all the the way up Braavos through the step stones just to marry a random woman then go all the way down to Volantis again? I'm not a sailor but that does not seem a great plan, though going to "the smoking sea" doesn't sound like a great plan either... idk.
Hmmmmmm I don't think the timing would really work, since The Mystery Knight takes place like 80+ years before the events of A Game of Thrones, which would mean that Penny's dad would have had to be at least in his early 20s in like 220 AC (to have already bought his freedom, toured the free cities, and ended up in westeros), and around 80 when Penny was born. I understand why you thought that might be possible, though, since he sounds like he was a totally awesome guy.
@@DavidReadsASoIaF it would take some money to buy a dwarfs freedom, and no reason he couldnt be in his teens in the mystery knight.. ill have to go over any description again to see if it hints at age. Agreed it was a long shot, but stranger things happen and george really like to link things.
It’s Valyria in the shows but in the books it’s the ruins of a rhoynish kingdom I’m pretty sure I could be wrong but the fog is a curse they called in to get rid of the valyrians invading them
I always forget how fun and mean Tyrion's inner thoughts are.
Your voice and GRRM's writing equals gold.
The Seleasori Qhoran - the fragrant steward... or the Perfumed Senechal?

That's very clever I totally missed that.

absolutely! I've always thought so. It's sooo obvious. I'm amazed nobody sees it!
Moqorro is one of George's greatest characters. He is such a presence. He reminds me of my late grandpa.
Poor Penny. It almost made me weep.

and about a "false dragon"
Poor Tyrion, there is no naked Septa at the sea.
Love the little Ghost of High Heart reference in this chapter. She’s one of my favorite minor characters.
"The prophacy the drove the red priests had room for just one Targarian, two would only serve to confuse them."
Great foreshadowing for Danny and Jon
Targaryan*
I think believe it also referring to Young Griff.
supposedly Jon, remember R+L=J is most likely a Red Herring
@@TAOBIAFNah.
It was actually referring to young griff and dany not Jon

This version of Tyrion Lannister is worthy of Daenerys Targaryen. Not that idiot from S 7 and S 8.
That's an alternate universe Tyrion. We do not speak of him

So the boat is the perfumed senechal?
Why is Tyrion constantly taking the blame for Joffreys murder? H has called himself king slayer on numerous occasions and never denies it?
Because he was declared guilty. Even though he didn’t do it. The entire realm believes he did.

Why would she do that? The widow, an ex-slave herself, seemed to be quite pleased about the "breaker of chains".

No but it could also mean Bloodraven. Crow or not he is still a Targaryen bastard and older than Aemon
