Some real head scratchers in this tech. I would drop the vigilance theme (not needed if opponents are attacking each other) and most of the planeswalkers. Instead, pack more card draw, removal, and finishers like Titanic Ultimatum/Craterhoof/Earthshaker Giant/Beastmaster Ascension.
This is a 3 year old episode by now. I agree that it could use some updating. Some of the cards you mentioned hadn't even been invented at the time of this release.
I've been playing Marisi, and it's fun. Duelist's Heritage is great. I also love Berserk and its budget equivalent Blood Frenzy for punching extra damage from one goaded opponent to another while simultaneously removing the best attacker (in fact, I killed one commander while forcing it to deal lethal commander damage to another player by combining Duelist's Heritage and Berserk during the same combat).
Kusari-game is pure brilliance!! Trailblazer's Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, and Prowler's Helm are going to do work, too. I'm thinking the control aspect is a major part of the package: Kinjalli's Sunwing, Thalia, Heretical Cathar; Urabrask the Hidden; Authority of the Consuls; Blind Obedience. Then barf out an army of about a bajillion weenie tokens (all the ways to make X tokens) and Crescendo of War + other pump effects FTW!! 😂😂😂

I think one or two "overrun" effects are pretty decent, depending on your meta. There's definitely groupd that make it tough to have a few creatures alive for more than a turn, but if Marisi's doing their job and keeping other boards tapped down from creatures (because they've attacked) both are great. But if they're able to put up one or two blockers (perhaps flash, or freshly-cast) then I might favour the one with trample vs. the one without.
I sooo want to build this deck but I already have TWO Naya decks. I can't stop, I just can't stop. *SOB* Must...resist...temptation...to...build...every...Legend,,, *Breathe* *Breathe* Ok. I'm ok now. I will just add him into my Saskia Deck, he can join Grenzo there.
@@CommandersBrew ahhh i see now haha. i missed it because i was looking for tappedout, and yeah, tappedout is better in my opinion since you can easily use the decklist for anything :)
You could always do what I did and make Saskia the commander of a forced combat deck and run both Marisi and Thantis in the 99. Makes hitting the pillow fort player easier to hit as well.

Needs Grenzo ,Havoc Raiser, the BEST Goad card before now.
Grenzo was always good, but got stranded behind the red zone too often ... Until Marisi backs him up!

I think I didn't understand it at first. I wasn't thinking about blocking, but in hindsight, we're going to get attacked eventually. The Meg is great!
