So, we tried this one today. Wow, this is a great strength workout! We need to buy some different bands, though. We were using some I got at the chiropractor to use for my knee. They were really too short, and one was not really strong enough, even adjusting to make it harder, so we had to switch between the bands and two sizes of weights, so we were constantly switching back and forth. Anyway, it’s a wonderful workout, and we plan to add it to our regular routine when we figure out the correct bands to get. It’s fun to add new routines to the mix! Thank you, Julie!!

I used a combo of the rubber band kind of band;) and weights....worked admirably....shall pick up the right bands by and by.. Appreciate all you do in these videos...stay well, and happy🤗
So pleased to have found this one. Holding the band on one shoulder to work triceps was a first for me and one I will revisit. So was the hamstring stretch/glute tightening exercise. As they said in the movie Jaws, "I'm gonna need a bigger band" (instead of boat), but subbing weights when needed was easy peasy. Your affirmations that "You should be feeling this" were spot on and greatly appreciated. As always, thank you, Jules.

Day 15 done ✔️🙌💪🏻😁 I did most of the exercise in the first set with my new blue band! (Exept for minute 6 down to minute 2 which disappeared) To be honest I was all 'resisted out' by this point anyway! 😁👍🏻🤩
PS. I take my hat off to you for all the work that you do behind the scenes as well as in front of the camera to bring us your great workout videos! There's so much that goes on 'back stage' that your followers don't see but we all really appreciate! Thank you! 💖👍🏻
@@ImprovedHealth Yes. For me it jumped from minute 6 to minute 4 and then down to minute 2. I tried both the apps on my TV and phone and both skipped those parts of the video. Possibly just at my end? It was still great though! 😊👍🏻
@@ImprovedHealth 😊 I've just looked on my laptop now and the video drops out in the first half when there's 6 minutes of exercise left to do on the clock, from minute 6 to 4 to 2. You have to look really carefully though! 😁 It didn't bother me as I happily carried on and did the second half non talking bit too! 😁💪🏻👍🏻

Well, if your arms were shaking, then you likely got in a good workout. Bands can work exceptionally well if people use the correct resistance. It sounds like you did just that:)

I don't have a lot of workouts with bands, but if you put 'resistance bands' into the search bar on my channel, they'll pop up.
Hi Maureen, the ones I use in the video are ones I purchased from Amazon. They are called 'Ginkano resistance bands' and they were only around $15 CDN for 3 of them (red, blue and yellow for different resistance levels). There are a ton of other ones to choose from but these ones are reasonably priced, the resistance is appropriate and the length is good, too. I hope that helps:)
We got new bands in, so we were able to properly do the exercises this time. Another one of those “a lot of workout in a short time” videos! I’ll probably be sore tomorrow, but that’s okay. I hope everyone sticks around for the stretching, because it really does help at the end.

@@ImprovedHealth , no “formal”workout tonight; we helped our church by making biscuits and serving breakfast to our local high school football team before their game tomorrow night. I’m exhausted! We decided to let this count for our exercise, since we helped cook, serve and clean up.
@@ImprovedHealth , while exhausting, it was very fulfilling! We may not get exercise in today, as we are going to work on replacing our kitchen backsplash today--yikes! Doing these chores is the real test of love…ha ha….we will definitely never put up wallpaper together again…..lol. Luckily, wallpaper is not trending anymore.

You can find some bands online fairly easily. Once you have the right length, it’ll definitely be more enjoyable:)
