I was at one of those small LANs that a young n0thing showed up to in Dallas, TX. He showed up after the tourney started. In the semis, he ended up ringing for a team we had already beat earlier in the day that we were matched against again. He single handedly beat us on de_inferno. It was cool to play against the prodigy, and still love telling the story today.
It's pretty common, especially back during 1.6, sometimes their wasd would break so they would need to use arrow keys. That's just one example, there's more reasons and different setups. It's really just personal preference and circumstance
Favorite player of all times. He's literally a sensei on this game. He always knew everything, since 1.6. All the angles, all the wallbangs, all the stuff. Recoil, how to move, how and when throw nades. Everything. He's unique.

n0thing is awesome, he's done a lot for the NA cs scene. It kind of bums me out he couldn't get a major win but I think a lot of that comes down to the era at which he's played. I think the idea of him starting an organization or atleast being a major part of org management makes a lot of sense.

These are all really well done and it's great to see these people get to pursue the game to the purist form. I ran several 1.6 and CSS servers back when I was younger and I still stand by that as the most pure raw competition I've felt in a game. The only other thing that has tickled my brain to the same extent CS has and consistently does and I've been playing CS for 20 years now(fuck, getting old) is Rainbow 6 Siege. I bought the game 4 years ago and barely played it(2 hours when wasted maybe) then saw one of this channels video profiles and started watching. I started playing Siege again 3 months ago and it tickled that Counter Strike itch that I so desperately needed in life. I'm not even fucking kidding, I was severely depressed and the only things in life bringing me slivers of hope and temporary joy were the raw adrenaline of driving my car like I stole it, my woman, my husky, and Siege or CS. I even organized my colleagues together and we have a team and play regularly and are all in the 27-43 Male demographic and have all played CS before and loved it in the past. They have all told me how fucking great it's been to have a team together and play really competitively. TLDR: This channel is great, I was depressed and this channel got me to go back and start gaming again with the purest game I loved and then I also found Rainbow 6 which tickles that same part of my brain CS did and does for the past 20 years. It's something I truly needed in my life. My woman has already agreed on a family LAN game room when we have kids. I will start em with 1.5, let them have the crosshairs on the AWP. lol
I feel like cloud 9 when it was ska, n0thing, shroud , autimatic, and stew could’ve been the best if they didn’t get shook so easily after the continues losses to the European teams in international level. They should’ve took their time and figure out why they were struggling.
