Get in touch with the guy who owns the place. Make a layout for it, get some friends to help you build it and there you have it. Of course it will be flat at the end but you will have the dust 2 layout. This has been done before (for Airsoft at least, they even added some elevation to the A site and a tiny bridge thing over ct spawn).
DexavioR Depends, if the guns fire quick and narrow beams you still need to be accurate, only problem is how easy it is to cheat by hiding sensors. Paintball pellets however are rather innacurate. There is significantly more 'rnd' in paintball than actual combat while lazers are technically perfectly accurate.
I think he should make two other channels too and name them confusingly so you think the least activate and subscribed one is the main channel. Then he should make a video about getting horrible diarrhoea from eating gummy bears.
pro games got stale on it. overpass, mirage or cache usually play out much more interestingly, and aren't just flatout aim duels all the time. apart from cobble, which has serious issues, and nuke, which has serious issues and nobody plays it well, i prefer watching any other map to watching dust2.
i'm 100% sure it's being reworked, but i guess it will be mostly cosmetical. they can't really change too many gameplay elements about it without creating a huge shitstorm, and they pretty much have to leave the layout intact.
as WarOwl said, D2 wasn't as fun to watch competitively simply because smoke and flash strats have changed CS from an often stale aim-duelling game into a lot more dynamic and tactical shooter. it's more fun to watch games play out on other maps, basically, because the strategies available raise the skill ceiling. that's how i see it, at least.
I went paintballing in a real life dust 2 map just south of Bristol in rural Somerset and it was amazing. And not like the pictures shown in the video, it actually looked like dust2

They have a great point. Long A is by far the most reliable way to push. Pushing long mainly comes down to aim duels - the great equalizer of cs. I know your comment is a year old but I just wanted to say that.
I am a close combat guy so I don’t really like long any other route though I will slaughter enemies one day or up close I don’t know why but I’m just really really good at killing people in close quarters but I have problems with the shooting the lone rangers
It wouldn't be awesome because in real life a 30 round match would require marathon level fitness. How many gamers you think have that level of fitness?

@@desfefe Because most paintball fields are quite small and don't require much running. Dust2 is much bigger than most paintball arenas, T spawn to either site would be close to 500m in real life. Try rushing that with someone shooting at you and see how many times you can do it. With rotates, a 30 round game would be over 20km of running, so no I don't think the average person can do that easily.

I don't get the players ruining the map statement. People are annoying. Instead of killing them irl you can kill them on dust 2. Never gets boring. Especially with all the crying turks these days. Way over 5000 hour dust2. Still loving it.

you forgot to mention that dust 2 was brought into this world as dust 3 because the creator didn't think it lived up to dust and planned on eventually creating a proper dust 2. It never happened and valve renamed it dust2 when it went retail, and well history was made.
Valve should make a half life themed operation. There could be missions where you fight against the face hugger people, vortigaunts, combine soldiers, etc. they could make a map that is set in black Mesa and has the bomb would be a nuke, and they could make everyone be in yellow radiation suits for terrorists and red suits for CTs. And best of all they could make a red crowbar knife.

I started playing CS:GO again recently. Im really bad, but Ive got very fond memories of each game from CS. One of my favorite maps is cs_office, but no ones plays cs_office anymore :(
CS v1.6 is still being played in an internet cafe in my hometown in the Philippines and its nostalgic. Everytime i enter there, there will be atleast 3 people playing it. Sometimes i play 5v5s with random people in that internet cafe. Good times.
VyRe Gaming Calm down, they did their best to make the minecraft version of CS:GO as realistic as possible. I think they, the Mineplex team and Minestrike community, have made a pretty accurate remake of Mirage.

It is really low prio, since barely anyone play them compared to the active duty ones. Also they market the game through esports events, so making the tournament maps look pretty is of their interest.

It is overrated because the maps been overplyed every time. Most of my friends cant play other maps besides dust 2 because they said other maps make them lose. I hated the fact that I have to queue dust 2 everytime i play with my friends. So everytime I have to play other maps I have to solo queue alot.
I remember the first time I played csgo I didn’t know dust 2 was that important. I just played every map once and that one stuck with me. I thought the dust 2 game mode on the menu was because it was my most played map but it took me a while to realize everyone else thought the same way about the map

Dust 2 is a really great map indeed but the problem isn't the map, it's the players and after 600 hours of dust2 you get bored

They are remaking dust 2, but aren't remaking any hostage maps. Assualt, office, and italy need remakes.
It is really low prio, since barely anyone play them compared to the active duty ones. Also they market the game through esports events, so making the tournament maps look pretty is of their interest.

This is the exact reason why one of these hostage maps need a remake. If they get a remake, more people would play them, and maby if they get enough attention and balance changes, people would play them

It is overrated because the maps been overplyed every time. Most of my friends cant play other maps besides dust 2 because they said other maps make them lose. I hated the fact that I have to queue dust 2 everytime i play with my friends. So everytime I have to play other maps I have to solo queue alot.

I like this, after 15 years of it, it's nice to and see others expand the map knowledge etc, and makes us understand comp games of other maps

I remember the first time I played csgo I didn’t know dust 2 was that important. I just played every map once and that one stuck with me. I thought the dust 2 game mode on the menu was because it was my most played map but it took me a while to realize everyone else thought the same way about the map
Dust 2 IS the BEST CS map. How can I say this? It's the map I have the most fun on.
