Currently posting daily will downgrade to posting every two days now. Posting every day during 3 months has not proven to make a huge difference on my growth. I grow more from interacting on the platform

Right now I'd say I'm a 6. I struggle finding the time to create content as I have a lot on my plate, but I'm learning to batch and make the most of the content I have. I'll get there, thanks Adam!

I'd say I'm pretty lazy, but I post at least every day and I really try to post engaging content. It's also cool that earlier today, I wrote a blog post (scheduled for tomorrow) about this.

Ive really been getting into your videos a lot recently and I actually appreciate the fast talking as I feel my mind is more interested in following along. Ive begun to take the stuff you preach for Instagram and slowly but surely the ball is beginning to roll. I really appreciate the lessons man.
My failure is in the planning phase. I need to plan out my posts an pick a day to write them all. I usually just post on impulse when I get an idea. I post a few times a week. Also I need to post more thoughtful and engaging posts. I have plenty of thoughts & wisdom to share, but part of me still wants it to be "all about the music" so I just post about my music 🤦🏾♂️. That's why I have very little growth. 😔
We've never had a problem getting people on board. We seem to have a problem with getting people to engage. With Facebook in fact, we garnered an audience that used to like and comment all the time. Somewhere along the line, they stopped commenting and liking and even drop off when we post. lol Instagram is a slightly different thing for us. We seem to grow massively and get the likes but admittedly we don't tend to post content that sparks comments.
I'd say I'm like a 5 on my bad days, 3 on my good days. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm steadily growing because of a lot of these techniques. When you mentioned the amount of posts we have isn't enough, that really woke me up. I've been feeling down in my music lately, but I need to push pause on the pitty party and keep going. Hey Adam, I find that your videos are always extremely informative but I am not sure I can apply these tips to what I’m doing… I do have an Instagram account, but for now I’m concentrating on producing content for RUclips, and even here, I’m not putting out there any original music, I’m producing cover songs… you always talk about “my music” but the music I’m working on atm isn’t “mine” (i do write music but I am not interested in producing originals for now, that is a step I’ll take in the future). So… how do I apply your tips to my specific case? Will u make a video on this kinda narrower topic (covering songs on RUclips)? 😝
Hi Adam, I post to Instagram about 4-5 times a week. I do have the gift of gab and write fun captions. I try mixing my love of fashion with my music videos and post lighter content in my Stories. I am engaging daily with content that I genuinely like. I would say 50% of those people comment back to me but rarely to they instantly follow me. Usually My comments turn into much more elaborate conversations, but I only acquire about 1-3 followers per day. Within those followers I would say only about 20% follow me because they like my content.. otherwise they just follow me and don’t interact. A few of those long convos might even take a few days to finally follow me but it usually requires me to follow them first. I got about 100 followers in a month from your previous advice. I’m kind of concerned about how my grid looks. It was more consistent a few months ago but since I don’t do full on fashion photo shoots everyday with a live song tacked on at the end my grid is looking janky. It’s very slow going. My goal is to get signed by a label who will rerelease my back catalog as well as pay for a new album. I’m thinking of putting all my live videos on my IGTV but I’m not sure that when folks look at my stuff that they are flipping over to my IGTV. So far what you’ve suggested is working but I’m trying to get to 10,000 so I can catch the ears of a label... as well as I want real fans who adore me! As of now I have 758 followers - I have a looooong way to go

We are indeed guilty of not posting consistently. I know I tend to overthink things (content ideas, etc.) alot and that's not something you wanna be doing in this business. I think we are a 5. Being honest with myself here.
I'm on 1 currently, paralyzed and unable to move the thread, haven't posted in a while. Something is holding me back, mentally just can't put myself together to keep it consistent.
Appreciate your transparency and getting to the heart of the matter. Social media platforms just want you to make them more appealing in the end, so the better you are at that, the more they will make you shine in front of others.
I'm a 5 on the scale right now. I do try to post but I feel like it has to be a big carousel with a lot of text and that has recently slowed down my frequency of posts. I guess I should be okay posting slightly smaller things just to be able to post more often

I feel like every other day or every other two days is a reasonable schedule with quality postings
I’m posting about 4 times a day
I have give people more value, more quality and more content.
