This series is fantastic. I'm totally new to the game, only played a day or two, and I wish I'd have watched this first. Unlike the other "beginner tutorials" I watched first, you don't show off how much you know by doing fancy gimmick rush strategies that are basically impossible for a new player; instead, you do things that an actual beginner can do now that you've shown how. Some of the menu clicking was too fast for me to follow what you were doing, but overall, I got the most from this guide.
I do apologise for the fast clicking i will do better next time. But i'm happy to hear these videos where useful to you! Have fun playing the game and if there're any questions let me know I'm usual quick on the replies
@ do you know of a way to play without the story quests or campaign or whatever? I just want to poke around without feeling nagged or obligated to keep interrupting what I am doing. Again, thanks for the videos. Helped me a lot.
@grayhill6728 you could do a costum game and hit the box with the story parts then select all outcomes you like and this way you will have a sandbox campaign without any story missions
@grayhill6728 personally I would do young gun and just play all the stories starting with whatever mission you want to try. But I can sent some pictures of a custom start but it would require discord.
In my game, the Trade Orders > Buy/Sell is not available to me. I'm assuming that this is because only local trade is available to my pilot of less than 3 stars. But your pilot is also < 3 stars, correct? Did the game patch this out since the release of this video?
3 minutes into the video and I have no idea what you are doing or how you are doing it. Which keys are you pressing to get which menu, and what is your mouse clicking to get the options that show on screen? What i see on my screen bears no resemblance to what you have on yours. Please make an updated video with more explanation for new players, remember - the learning curve with X4 is very steep and very high - assume we know NOTHING (which is often the truth).
Have tried the first 2 videos? basically its M for the map and my mouse. i never expected to guide it even more then i have done so far. But if you haven't then try the games tutorial which tbf is actually not bad and when you press H in the game there is a very good tutorial selection menu which i talk about in the first video.
@@MrStoffzor I did not see parts 1 & 2 - I came straight to this one because of the title and a google search ... try being helpful instead of a smart arse.
Whether or not i am going to redo my tutorial series but in a different format because you do have a valid point but I'm not used to making tutorial videos.

Thanks for the video. I have learned a lot.
Thank you for letting me know, i truly appreciate it.
Nice guide to repeat orders.
Thank you very much
You took repeat orders a lot further than I ever have. Hadn't really thought to do it that way!!
I love repeat orders so far this has served me greatly.
Thank you
You're welcome
You know you can increase or decrease the amount you see in the trade window upto 10 I think, not at my computer so can't check
actually its lot higher if you click the number, you can insert an amount of choice
Captain columns done something like this but you blew him away with the way you just did it
Thank you very much

all you should need is a 1 star pilot to change its behavior to repeat order, then it should give the trade orders
@@DailyFixLP Ah, repeat orders FIRST! That was it, thank you.
@@lunar_brained your welcome hit me up if you need assistance
Will you make more tutorials? Such a complex game, hard to get started
I do plan on it but atm it's too hectic to really sit down for a new part.
@@DailyFixLP if you will then pleaseee make something about station building, management, and commanding ai ships for different tasks
@j.b8381 that would be an excellent next video for sure
we want pirate/bounty hunting!!
@@AntinoriGuido much appreciated I'll add the topic to my list and work towards it
Has spoilers
Thanks!

In part 3 of a series it's fair to assume people know what's in part 1 and 2 🙃
