Really nice looking three road shed. Might have to invest in one of those Cricut machines myself one day. It certainly makes it all your own work and not just an off the shelve job. Excellent job. Atb Graham 🙂
Superb work Gary, you've made best use of the tools available, showing how the future of this hobby is heading. Designing and building your own structures, that look as good as any company made products. Top notch. All the best. Brian
Hi Gary, great to see another episode my friend. Amazing as always and great use of technology and of course, in this day and age, much cheaper and more rewarding than shop bought. Looks fantastic and Tony’s roof technology is a thing of beauty too. Solid looking and very realistic.. Great to have some more quality entertainment from your good self.. All the best, Chris
Thanks Chris, Very appreciated.. Yeap I have been a bit busy with this one - I do enjoy the modelling side more than hours of video editing lol.. - so lots of measuring and assembling - but it is nice seeing the progress pull together.. I'm now very happy with the engine shed with thanks to Tony's awesome help, I'm not sure I would of survived without it.. ( Tony North Eastern is a Master modeller as I see....) I've got some more gems on the way, so take care buddy and catch you soon 😁👍 Garry..
What an excellent build Garry! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing you put all this together mate, thanks for sharing and take care of yourself till the next update, cheers Darrell
Thanks - it's actually built for the stitching craft side of hobbies but these work very well cutting plastic sheets - Bit of a costly out lay but in my opinion well worth the money long term. Cheers Garry
For some reason I thought the old layout was fully dismantled and broken up - glad to see it's still knocking around even if moribund. Two questions if you will: 1) what model of cricut did you use to be able to cut brick sheet (I'm guessing the thinner slaters/SEF stuff rather than Ratio?) and 2) maybe some vertical strips running down the front face of the shed atop the glazing might make it look more authentic?
Hi buddy, The old layout is Gone that was shots from long before. Sadly it was damaged by my a neighbour breaking the fences and damaging the roof that leaked on layout.. So its Gone to chipper lol.. Neighbour will be next 😂 The Machine I use is the latest version CRICUT MAKER I believe it's mentioned in vid, MAKER is the model - it is a bit confusing I'll be honest lol.👍 You can cut 2mm very easily on it designed too do - the sheeting is a similar to slaters but I do cut slaters sheets on it all about 1mm thick. Embossed sheets cut so easy with just a couple passes as the sheets naturally snap on the cut lines.. Thanks as always Garry
Hi buddy and thank you - Yep the railing where done with a soldering Iron but I have now sunk them in properly, so they only sit half than what was Shown. Just wasn't finished when I filmed but good now.
Thanks John, ABSOLUTELY 👍 I was sceptic at first on what I would do with it as it doesn't make tea LOL.. but they are really handy and not as messy as 3D machines. ( think thats just me 😂 ) great hearing from you and hope all is great your side - Im sure we'll catch up in the next couple months 😁👍 Cheers Garry
Interesting video not sure if you aware there is now a UHU glu for polystyrene called UHU POR if you have large panels to stick on the normal UHU can cause the plastic to warp over time
Hi bud Yeap played the warp game many teens ago lol and yes I have heard but it's tricky to get hold of locally. but I done tests on the plastics I use so feeling fairly confident LOL
No buddy LOL, these are not freebies or affiliated to those manufactures in anyway. - I bought all these myself. Buying any machines are great at making free products at home but the machine outlay has to be considered on how much one uses the machines..
Hi Gary only getting to see your video now been up to my proverbials doing a lot of battletech stuff , like the look of your 3d printer are they worth getting, I built my engine shed using molds I got from a UK company can't think of the name but they do a bunch of oo gauge railway stuff.
Hi David, really unto how you intend to use it really - 3D printers are great for making on the fly parts and yeah saved me buying things / downside it can be messy and smelly plus spending hours making cad drawings can detract the fun but once you've designed it you always have the files. In my opinion it comes down to your budget and where you are going to use it.. Personally the Cricut Maker Machine has been the better value foe what it can do.. Hope this helps 👍 Cheers Garry
Hi buddy massive apologies there, 🫣 Yeap cut the basic parts for building and then run the same cut on the embossed brick sheets as same cut pattern. Hope this makes more sense silly me lol. All the best Garry
Iv been doing a 4 road shed 1000mm long by hand.its victorian redbrick with 40 arched window bays. and I should have bought a cricut machine.they make things so much easier watching you do this.
Hi they do pay for themselves in the long run with the ability of making mass buildings rather than buying off the self items - I was sceptic at first on how I would use the machine and to what benefits I would gain. This would of saved you time for sure, and with the ease of duplicate cutting, but the patience you must of put in to your build dose makes it more desirable.. thanks again all the best Garry
A great little shed and well made.
Nice one, great looking depot
Great build Garry, looks awesome well done. Regards Barry.
Hi Gary, excellent job really admire your work thanks for sharing cheers Al
Looks excellent

Hi Gary, Never seen a cricut maker before, you have made a great job of the new shed 👍🏼
Thanks - it's actually built for the stitching craft side of hobbies but these work very well cutting plastic sheets - Bit of a costly out lay but in my opinion well worth the money long term. Cheers Garry

Not a modeller myself but great model
Cracking job Gary, was the roof handrailing done with soldered wire.
Hi buddy and thank you - Yep the railing where done with a soldering Iron but I have now sunk them in properly, so they only sit half than what was Shown.
Just wasn't finished when I filmed but good now.
Great job Garry, really fits the location well. You are so right, machines are the way to go and you can build exactly what you want.
Thanks John,
ABSOLUTELY 👍

Great modeling Garry I cheated and used the bachmann shed
I nearly cheated on getting a Bachmann shed - but it was cost LOL,
Hi Gary, you did say if you was to buy these machines it would add to the cost, so were they
freebies from Cricut and Anycube?
No buddy LOL,
these are not freebies or affiliated to those manufactures in anyway. - I bought all these myself.

Hi Gary those molds are from scalecast can't send you a pic. David
Yeah I have seen those but never used them.. 👍
So did you use the cricut to make the basic shape AND to cut the brick sheets? You didn't make it clear.
Hi buddy massive apologies there, 🫣 Yeap cut the basic parts for building and then run the same cut on the embossed brick sheets as same cut pattern.
Hope this makes more sense silly me lol.
