The Shackleton Trio - Fenland Song

Another gig put on by those wonderful people at Folk and Roots, The Shackleton Trio at Green Note on 31 January 2022. The band are from Norwich and feature Georgia Shackleton on lead vocals and fiddle, Aaren Bennett on guitar and Nic Zuppardi on mandolin. This song is also called 'Water in the Dyke' and was written by pig farmer, Fred Rooke of Hebenham in Norfolk and was arranged by The Shackleton Trio. You can find it on their 2018 album, Fen, Farm and Deadly Water. During the evening the band announced they would be releasing their new album in May.
