How many remodels did it have that something isn't movable due to codes and changes would be a violation. Just some food for thought.

It's like when I solve my 4x4 Rubik's cube and the only thing left to do is two red pieces on the orange side and two orange pieces on the red side. It's really irritating
Being OCD / a perfectionist and a builder myself, some of these are maddening, but as I aged I started searching for creative stimulation. I occasionally found it by intentionally misaligning something, but I did it in planned locations where only the most observant ppl would find it. I built a “dream house” for a client who tours plenty of guests through it. With his permission, in clear view on the forward facing wall in the Master Bathroom shower, I intentionally installed a 10x12 deco tile upside down at waist height. He’s lived there now over 10 years and says no one has ever noticed it. Mission Accomplished.

The last one.....I would be getting in electrician to fix that.🥴 Was looking at houses for sale and a newly renovated house.....1 piece of flooring is darker than the rest. If I was going to buy the house that would need to be fixed first.

They are access points for shut off valves that stop flows of utilities.
