I hiked alone to Mount San Jacinto Peak. This is my sixth and final summit for the Six Pack of Peaks challenge for 2021, which I completed in one month.
Had a lot of fun hiking these mountains and super grateful for the health to hike and the experiences I had.
That peak view is EPIC!
Best summit view out of all the 6 pack of peaks!
@@PaulSantas I believe it!
Really appreciate the use of simple, unobtrusive music. In recent weeks I have done Baldy and Baden Powell. These places are all very beautiful, but I also have to say, they look very similar (which is not a surprise, of course).
Thanks! Haha I agree that SoCal peaks share some similarities. Congrats on summitting those two mountains!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know what it feels like hiking alone and taking videos of the hike at the same time especially when you’re moving. Had to set up the camera, capture the subject (you) and to come back to retrieve your camera which added more time to what should have been a shorter hike if you’re not filming. But great job and thank you for sharing your experience.
Knowing that people enjoy the videos makes all the backtracking worth it haha!
that initial squirrel interaction was intense 😳😳🐿
It was like an old Western standoff.
enjoying the content! keep it up!
Glad to hear that! Appreciate it!
This trail in underrated! just missed you by a day!
Darn! Hope to hike together soon!
June 26, 2022 - Paul , stumbled on your channel and it’s very inspirational, thanks for posting- You made San Jacinto look east , thought about doing that but the summer months are brutal in Palm Springs , I know you had to do double steps to set up the camera return and set up again for the next show , super hard. What was ur total time round trip from starting point ?
Thanks

Hey Javier, all the details from this hike are on the AllTrails link in the description! It took me 5 hours 17 min to complete this hike, spent about 30 minutes at the top. Best wishes on your future hiking trips!
So...he's hiking alone, but there is a camera on him. SOMEbody has to move the camera.
Perhaps a tripod is my secret :D
