Can you advise if it has to be 2666MHz ram to be installed? I've just bought this computer after watching your video and seeing you can upgrade the ram.
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like you can put a graphics card on this one. It has a lower power supply/brick and I didn’t see any slot for a graphics card
I'm looking to do same thing but every time (4x now) I order I get wrong size RAM. I need 2 3/4" strip, they send me 5 inch strip or Notebook RAM which is wrong . Can you help???
Quick question. This doesn’t have to do with this video but with a video from I think a year ago. Would you recommend me getting the HP 14 inch laptop (330 dollars, AMD Athlon, 4 GB RAM) or the 330 dollar iPad. I mainly want it for Roblox and some school work. Thanks!
Yeah the hp amd athlon silver. It’s a good entry level laptop that can upgraded. iPad would be pretty good but you might have to get a keyboard if you have to type a lot. My personal opinion is an iPad would be more consistent performance wise. The hp laptop is good for basic stuff. It might struggle with playing games without any upgrades
There might be some things the iPad won’t be able to run that windows can. But not a lot I can think of. Unless you need certain programs for classes that uses windows
No reason in particular. It’s just what I had available at the time. 2400 mhz will be the speed it will run (ram will run to match other ram in speed, whichever is slowest) If the other ram is running 2400 mhz and I put in a 2666 mhz ram stick they will both run at 2400. Hope this helps. If you have 2400 mhz that will be perfect to match if you currently have a 2400 mhz ram installed
It will run fine with a 2666 mhz stick, but it will match the speed of the slower ram. Even if someone put a 3200 mhz stick it would still run at 2400 mhz because that’s the slower stick
That’s good. I’m personally not picky with ram unless you are using gaming ram which means you would access the xmp profile. Team group is usually standard ram in my opinion. Check your task manager> performance tab > memory to see the current ram speed and slots. You can also use cmd as admin > wmic memphysical get maxcapacity to check max ram you can put in the computer
Isn’t the legion tower 5 a gaming desktop? I would contact support to see what ram they recommend or if you are able to access the xmp profile. Some gaming ram need you to access the xmp profile to use its full speed/potential based on my experience
