Rumor is they are working on it. Hopefully it falls through, because Frank Wildhorn (the composer) hasn’t had a musical on Broadway since 2004, where it flopped big time. It’s been even longer since he’s had a successful musical. I’m hoping a broadway production is likely, since about every production of this show I’ve heard of has been sold out, including in Japan and Korea, I think.
I already saw the Japanese version on RUclips before i went to see this show and the one i went to after L shoots himself the prop gun slid across the stage and all i thought was "good thing i know they don't need that prop anymore because there not finding that anytime soon".
After listening to the concept album a lot I don’t think they messed up. This production probably changed a few lyrics too seeing as how they cut out L’s verse from this song
@@MisterDumDum Because you’re assuming that seeing it live would suck based on a poor audio recording after comparing it to the studio. Don’t see the logical misstep there? Still confused on what about this clip makes you “very glad” you didn’t see it live because from what you can make out the vocals and instrumentals are fantastic🤷♂️

1st - The concept demo was sung by entirely different people
2nd - It obviously sounds better in person then recorded through a phone
