- Air New Zealand Boeing 777-300ER Taking off from Auckland AKL to Los Angeles LAX filmed in Business Premier/First Class. Great GE90-115B engine sound!! Hope you enjoy.
Every single time any aircraft takes off is a symbol of humanity's success
Well said, sir!

Ive always wanted to be a commercial pilot, and after high school im going for it!! Ao ill help drive that success :)

I am still in awe at the way these engines can shove 350 tons of aircraft down that runway so hard and so fast and do so with apparent ease. Incredible, as is the noise when they spool up!
They don't even have to spool up to 90% for takeoff
I think these are physically the largest jet engines on the market. Look totally cool.
jimbo9357 they are. And they are even more massive in person. Taller than your average NBA player.
3:38 I love the sound of a GE90 telling an airport goodbye.
I find this lovely noise more mentally stimulating than most modern pop music :D
Modern pop music is not mentally stimulating.
@@SuperballBG woosh
I love those record breaking GE-90s. 😄 They're one of the most reliable commercial jet engines on the market. 😁
Tell that to MH370
Really????
+ChopsticksAngel MH370 wasn't equipped with GE90 engines, it wasn't a -300er serie, but a 200ER serie equipped with Trent 800 engines
+Neil Petersen so ur comment doesn't make sense at all
+Neil Petersen have you any proof that the engines caused the crash
The GE 90 is music.
It really is
Yes
I think the Trent 500 of an A340-600 is better
I agree.
The best ever video of a GE90 777 take off
OMG Look at the bend on that wing as it gets off the ground. Best Engine view I have ever seen, excellent.
I think this one of the best "wing-watcher" videos on RUclips and I've watched thousands. I've watched more times than I'm willing to admit. Perfect lighting, phenominal airplane, and perfect cloud formations. Can't be beat, IMO. Great job filming this.
It really is amazing!
The clouds are pretty much always like this in New Zealand
And the wing flex too!
The 777 engine sound is just magic! New Zealand looks brilliant, i hope to visit someday. Cheers.
"Magnificent" is definitely the right word to use, everything about this video is great; the sounds, the wing view, the sights and views :)
I love this video, thunderous GE90 roar to the beautiful backdrop of Auckland. But even after watching so many times, I only today noticed the wing flex on takeoff! Stunning!
My heart started pounding at the beginning as the plane rolled to a stop before the pilot got clearance to take off.
It's so cool to haul ass up the runway. I got an adrenaline rush just watching it.
Nice quality ! I sit by the engine all the time but some how feel guilty about recording when they say please turn off all electronics LOL
Love the 777 and adore the sound of them GE90-115B. engines. ;)
Great! Very enjoyable! No silly subtitles or music, just the GE's and the flight crew. THANKS.
I enjoyed it too have a good day :) (i am not the youtuber :D)
That's is a marvelous sound from the GE90-115B engine.
This video never fails to impress me every time, especially when you consider all the incredible engineering gone into designing the engine. And it's just like the nice sound is the cherry on top of the cake :)
Great job! Excellent lighting and fantastic engine sound!
i love the sound, when the engine from 777 get power :)
Look at those wings flex!
Awesome video!! That engine buzz was truly amazing, saved this video!
The power those engines generate is still mind-boggling to me.
nice video! love the ge 90 engine :) funny effect: when you watch the fan at 3:12 you can see the camera changing the shutter-speed because of the brightness.
Perfect lighting conditions to watch that huge GE90-115 fan at takeoff. Also, Air New Zealand planes are CLEAN. You could eat off the wings!
Wonderful view of Auckland is my first time in my life than see New Zealand really! greetings from MArgarita Island Venezuela
I LOVE jet engine noise!! The louder the better. I would love to set up a lawn chair at the end of a runway and listen to jets up close. The louder the better for me. This is an incredible sound.
The sound of those powerful jet engines is spine-chilling!Super video.
GE-90's are raw power. They would make excellent engines for my podracer...
Awesome view and great sound!!
That was AMAZING Footage. Really Put a Big Smile on my face. Thanks for uploading this
WOW 11 hours ? That's a Long Flight.
3:40 The howling 777 sound .... Like music to my ears! Great video and nice view on the engine! Any idea of the regi of this ANZ B777?
This is where we met
The little house at 4:35. i want to live there
+Gordon Urquhart Is not a house, is a radio station, but imagina if was a house. Must be cool.
+zfghty uuyghju Don't forget night time when you're trying to sleep.
+Gordon Urquhart imagine if a plane skids off the rwy =I
Gordon Urquhart I can imagine the home owner coming out and shaking his fist at the plane!
Imagine if the plane skids off the highway and hits your home and explodes as you are sleeping, that would not be pleasant.
0.01% quiet engine 99.99% great sounding engine
The sound from 3:41 to 3:51 is so sweet I could listen to it all day.
+D-Gauss chills! they sing! human engineering at it's finest!
Its the music of my life
Those engines are.....MASSIVE !! They stand at 9ft tall and I'm 6ft 6". When I first saw them up close I was shocked.
The top of the engine cowling is actually 16 feet up.
Devon Cantrell Correct though the diametre is around nine feet wide of the fan width I understand.
Yeah. I've stood inside one before. They are pretty freaking awesome
Those engines are larger than the 737 fuselage.
ProXanthium They're a larger diameter. But they are 23 feet long.
The roar of GE 90 is amazing & the startup more beautiful.
Those people who disliked this video most be jailed!
+A. Abdullah Ahaha thank you!
Airbus fans
@@me-it9jn I'm a Airbus fan but also Boeing too
me nah they probs like the RR better 😂
I love Airbus but I still love Boeing as well.
Just a bought a 1/400 scale model of this beast and arrived today looks gorgeous with the all blacks livery
A 777 engine is a thing of beauty. Whether RR GE or PW it is simply stunning
Beautiful shots :)
the engine sound is outstanding
I'm glad I was behind the wing and could not hear or see the engine...Going up is so exciting and surreal ,I love it..
Incredible sound. Awesome video!
I always love it when you can see the fan blades during takeoff!
I love the sound of these Rolls Royce Trent engines! Thanks for posting.
Rolls Royce Trents on the 777-300ER? Wow.
imanofficerable Wow indeed! Don't they sound amazing?!
TeamGForce75 Actually, I was being sarcastic. because the GE 90-115 b is the exclusive engine on the 777-300ER.
But they do sound amazing indeed.
imanofficerable I highly doubt that. Or do you mean exclusive to Air NZ 777-300ER?
TeamGForce75 Well, you're talking to an expert on the subject.
Boeing has an exclusivity deal with GE for the 777-300ER.The GE90- 115b is the exclusive engine on the 777-300ER.
The 777-200LR and the 777F use the GE90-115 exclusively as well.
The 777-200, 200ER and the 300 have 3 engine options, GE 90, Trent 800, and P&W 4000.
So, no, every flying 777-300ER on the planet uses a GE90-115b. This is a big factor to it's tremendous success, because such high-powered engines are big fuel-savers.
You can doubt it, but these are the facts. Check em if you want to.
Best Video and I love Boeing 777.💖💖💖💖
Great audio of those massive engines winding up to full thrust at take-off.
Loving the wing flex!
I love the sound of the engine, also the rainbow formed on the wings.
Best engine sound ever !
That roar is insane on these engines, love it!
Love it, it’s like a CFM engine with a deeper intense growl
That wingload on rotation is absolutely terrific.
o my god great video and that sound wow that can come only from a 777 brilliant video man cheers
Love the 777-300ER. It takes me around to the other side of the world. Ultra-long haul over one of the Polar Great Circle routes.... but worth it to get to the Asian tropics. Thank you Boeing. Thank you also Airbus A-320 for shorter flights.
That wing-flex is dementia
Wow,wow,wow!Amazing GE90s!Love them so much!
These are so loud i can hear them from my house near the airport. Magnificent.
Music to my ears :D
Same here mate
i could listen to this ALL DAY!!!
Air New Zealand will be operating the 777-300er into SFO starting October. Can't wait to see them here!
When I took off on the 777-300ER, I couldn’t even move because I was pushed back in my seat that hard. The G-force I’ve ever felt.
GE-90 sound is just creazy. Great filming.
Fantastic footage!
Great vid. Thanks for sharing!
This is what powerful means, terrific takeoff, sounds, sights it’s all good.
Those GE 90s, surreal
Who else watched this years ago and are watching this again in 2020?
and 2023
@@spenofzeros and 2024
I think the Rolls-Royce Trent engines have a nicer roar to them; of course they are noisier. These GE90 engines still sound great though. Thanks for the upload!
Awesome! I'm Going on a 777-300ER to Los Angeles too but I'm on Virgin Australia from Brisbane to LAX
Awesome video! GE makes a nice unit...beautiful sound.
That trill from the bypass fan.
Sounds so damn powerful for a reason.
An absolutely stunning view!!!!!
Love the triple-seven!
Beautiful view, thanks for a great video!
Amazing takeoff sounds!!
12:51 that was cute
Love the buzzsaw sound of the GE90s, very similar to the RB211!
Hi, great to have finally found your RUclips channel. I love this flight it is one of my favourites, this video is too!
Thank you!
Awesome video! Love this aircraft in general but it looks especially good in the regular Air New Zealand livery and absolutely awesome in the All Blacks livery
This is amazing video!! I love the quality of the video and the noise, the camera work is beautiful as well. Great day - I loved how the sunlight refracted through the water particles when the condensation formed over the wing at 7:58 creating those beautiful colours. May I ask what camera you used for this?
very nice video ! it's just amazing ! i'm your 1000 subcriber lol 😉 congratulations 😀
Never heard such an extreme buzzsaw sound from a GE90-115B, just impressive. I'm guessing with the future 777-8 and -9, they could easily hit up to 130,000 lbs thrust per engine, as currently they can do 115,000 lbs.
There is no need for more thrust since one of these could power a fully loaded 747
11:14 epic view
Pure music to my ears, great video man! ☺️
Great video, love the massive GE90 wine
i get so excited when they cross the runway threshold ("piano keys")... and those mighty g390's spooling up
that is awesome love this sound and other plane sounds
Very cool, thank you.
thanks for the sound of great power
From 6:20 and so on: If only I could listen to a loop of those growling engines!
At 1:06 If you look at the brown brick wall u can see there is a carpark which is public and great for plane spotting!
I'd faint with that noise
Wing flex is such a beautiful design ,for some reason just feels safer when I see that wing ,Amazon engineering
beautiful view at take off
Superb Video :-)
Salt: the 777 with ge 90's is totally awesome. Need to get on one and go somewhere wild.
amazing GE90-115B Engine Sound!
very good, very good, excellent videos, my congratulations are good
