Breaking through the cloud to the beautiful blue sky and sunshine is the absolute best when experiencing a rainy departure. And those engines...pure music.
Agreed! It's always an amazing experience going from one weather condition to another immediately. I always think of the people below being ignorant to the sunny skies above the gloomy rain.
Take Off Distance: 3230 metres. The -300ER can climb of at a rate 3000 feet per minute or 15.24 metre per second. It took the Aircraft 6:30 mnts to reach above skies at an estimate altitude 19,500 feet. Sun and clear skies was visible at estimated (based on time) altitude 33,000 feet. Beautiful sound from the largest and most powerful General Electric GE90-115B turbofan engines.
This gives me me memories of my flight home to Miami from Dubai. I was in a window seat, pitched against the wall. And when it started it's spool, the vibration literally went through my entire body. The sounds was music to my ears, but as a frequent flyer, it might have been the best sound I've heard of the GE90-115B yet.
Wowwwww...I loved your video the most. I have seen plenty but none as long as this only on take off...About 22 minutes into the taxiing ...was when the take off run began...and to watch it traverse through very cloudy skies for another 12 minutes, and when the airplane makes it over then...the beautiful blue skies ...a bright burning sun for company... my best wishes and thank you... to the pilot and you the observer...
It is unusual to take off in that direction at SFO. Most of the time the winds come from the north. When it rains they come out of the south. That's why they had to taxi all that way out in the Bay to the opposite end of the runway from where they usually go.
If you don't mind me asking, Flug, how was camera mounted in this takeoff? Rock steady! Also, those engines don't sound like the GE90s present on my Cathay flights in 300ers to HKG.

Bro this just takes aircraft geekiness to another level
Usually don’t climb at 3000 FPM especially when heavy on fuel
😊

Bro I love the startup sound when pilots speed the plane to To/Ga
That was the takeoff part
That engine sound! 🎵🎵🎵
22:08 the best part
Uninterrupted video, and that engine sound is cool and magnetic.

The sound of this engine is SPECTACULAR on takeoff..
Those GE90-115Bs could move MT. Everest. Those engines are monsters.
when it emerged from the clouds and the Sunlight shown it looks soo surreal!
That spool up never gets old
That’s what she said.
Fantastic video and smd sound. Hope the flight as as good.

Looked like reverse ops at SFO, seems unusual as most take offs / landings i've ever seen there are on the 28s & 19s
what camera do you use? The quality and sound are great

Cool vid! Can i use it as part of my video? I will link it back to this ❤

Best aircraft very comfortable
I flew corporate jets for 25 years. I really miss the "sight" of climbing out on top like this. Of course, the cockpit view was much better.
Okay now looking back i realized:
When did emirates fly a 777 on EK226?
During Covid in December 2021
@@flugfan2062 no wonder why they swapped from a 380 to a 777, explains why
That was one thick storm.
Nice view👍👍👍
Nice 👌
incredible !!
Runway 10R?
Busy airports often require low altitude departure depending on air traffic in the area. Took quite awhile to get above the clouds on this flight.
Safe travels
I’m a huge fan, can I meet you in person
I like to guess when the plane is at V1 and rotates; most of the time I get it right
Me too ,always time it ,

The usual rainy Runway 10 departure.
Yeah nice change from the usual 28 departures.
Nice. I’ve taken off from SFO many, many times but never during rain. I don’t really fly much during winter.
Gorgeous gorgeous f*****g gorgeous
Where is that annoying music coming from? If its playing under the recorded announcement, Ill NEVER fly that airline!
Other than that, great video!
i am numb to emirates' inflight video and i hate it, but i love taking off from here
wait is this real life or microsoft flight sim
nvm that thumbnail legit looked like a msfs vid
STORM !! WHAT STORM ?? ITS RAINING SOME - SO WHAT !!
Why is it wobbling
It's always pissing rain in San Francisco
Thats good

yes lol
At the beginning it looked like it was gonna takeoff during pushback~
Forget car guys,
This is music
What about us bus and train fans, they make great music too, even one point trains used jet engines
