Kiss is an older production when Earl ( left in 2020) and J None (joined the Navy but comes back whenever he can)were still members, if you go back further you'll see Tony who went behind the camera into production some years back. I love it when they get all experimental and when they get silly and when they break my heart and when they sing straight a Capella, their old stuff and their new stuff and... you get it. Great reaction, your boy is wonderful and gotta love our Moms no matter what.

“I can’t make you love me” is one of my absolute favourites of theirs but it is really emotional one. But by god Cesar is just 😍 in it. Oh and you’ll get a wee surprise from Layne in it. 😉
If you haven’t done it yet, check out their cover of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors. The harmonies!! And you’ll see everyone tear up singing it. Layne doesn’t do any beat boxing so we fet to hear his amazing voice. Grab tissues-you’ll need them.
It used to be either Geoff or Layne who did the arrangements, about 50/50 with Eli doing one or two but Eli is now doing more arranging too. He is always in charge of lighting and backgrounds. Geoff has said that he wasn't in favour of doing this one but he was outvoted. They do sometimes have effects added to their voices, which is what you heard. Don't worry about favourites, just enjoy the whole thing. :) It's easier in the long run. Geoff, Layne and Earl (with the beard in this one) were the constants from day one up to 2020 when Earl left. J.None (the black brother) left in 2021 to sing with the US Navy but comes back when he's on leave, and many hope that he will return full time when his time with the navy is done.

You seem to be managing well with your boy (and mom). Both of these that you picked are great songs (I Can't Make You Love Me is their quiet masterpiece - beautiful and heartrending at the same time). Earl was one of the founding members - crazy high tenor. Listen to him in Queen in 5 Minutes. J None is a 2018 pickup when Tony Wakim (baritone) left to do productions but 3 yrs ago he was recruited by the US Navy chorus. He comes back as often as possible (listen to VP doing Tennessee Whiskey). Being down 2 people, they auditioned a few and chose Cesar (see his audition with VP) doing We're Good (Dua Lipa), another of my favorites, talk about SASS. Layne is half-owner of Pattycake Productions studio with Tony (try VP's Phantom of the Opera for a showcase of Tony's and Rachel's skills.) Eli was in a fairly close high school and they knew him from the competitions. He was in a couple of rock bands and in 2010, he joined VoicePlay. Because they are only 4 at the moment, they do pull in some great talent to add to their complement and it gives them great flexibility. Do Wicked or Greatest Showman for a treat. Your baby really settled into the music! The Bass Gang did the 4 Disney songs - Arabian Nights, Be Prepared, Gaston, Friend Like Me. Love the double concepts!
the bass gang will drive you crazy with their bass voices and not to mention the high notes they hit. emperors new clothes is a good song to cut your teeth on
I don’t think you’ve reacted to their Hall of the Mountain King yet. You probable should, because they are about to release the sequel and you won’t want to do them as a double. (They’re probably too much for anyone to hear back to back - too much Layne madness!)

Adding a comment a few weeks after the reaction. I hope your trip to the country went well and that you and your family are doing okay. Voice play's sounds are all their voices, but they do manipulate them in production to create those crazy sounds; you wouldn't get that in a live V.P. event.
If you want extremes, do I Can't Make You Love Me with Drunken Sailor. You'll go from the sublime to the ridiculous. Take care!!

If you’re going to check out The Bass Gang, I would really recommend doing ‘Mad World’ first, to get a good sense of each of their individual voices. (A lot of people will recommend Hooked On A Feeling because it features Tim Foust, but save it for later because it is NOT a good showcase of their normal sound.)
Your Mom getting involved was honestly hilarious. No offence.
You should check out some of thier older stuff, a couple of my favorites are Death of a Bachelor, I Love Me, and Attention. The Death of a Bachelor cover was part of a series of videos called 'Partwork" they did it with just Geoff and Earl multi tracked, and they hit their (as of that time) highest and lowest notes.

My daughter was on formula and having so much trouble and my dad told me to get some kyaro syrup and put some in the bottom of the bottle. It worked for my daughter but some say there is no proof it works. I would put it in the bottle every 2 days. It may be an old wife's tale but like I said it worked for my daughter. That was 28 yrs ago so, just a suggestion if it starts getting worse.
