As a music major, I love how you break down techniques so a non-musician understands, like triplets. (Memories of singing "tri-pal-let, tri-pal-let, tri-pal-let" over and over in band class, and tapping 3 beats with one hand while doing 4 with the other!) VoicePlay really captured just how epic this song was to us kids when it first came out. Eli's showing off his arranging chops, and I hope he brings more 90s music into their repertoire. This song came out when I was in high school, and my music nerd outcast "clique" were all into grunge. (We weren't the rich music nerds with shiny horns and ran for student council; we were the poor music nerds who rented dented school horns and acted wild at football games.) We rocked out to this song after class, blasting it on mini cassette players in the band room until the director yelled at us to line up for marching. Such memories! Definitely one of my favorites from them.

I was born in 1980 and this is one of my absolute favorite songs by one of my favorite singers. They did this song justice absolutely ❤🎉
The karaoke version sampled in their outro (they provide the full version on patreon) illustrates just how amazing the backing vocals, bass and percussion are intertwined with the lead.
One of my favorites from the 90s... and they leveled it up!! Their talent is unmatched
This song hooked me 100% by the time cesar took that big inhale. That’s all it took and it’s become my absolute favourite song of theirs. So here for a Voiceplay grunge era! Eli did such an amazing job with the arrangement and the boys rocked.

i loved this song my younger brother would have loved this cover cause Soundgarden was one of his favorites. unfortunately, he passed away in 2020.

I didn't know this song previously so checked out the original videom which was so creepy I didn't really pay attention to the song itself. However I do like VP's version.
Weirdly, my favorite cover of this song is by Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gormé. Yes, the LOUNGE version. It's FIRE.
