Transforming My BMW E28 528e From an Auto M20 to a 5 Spd ITB M30B35 | Start to Finish Time-lapse

- I spent the last 12 months completing the transformation of my fully stock 1985 BMW E28 528e auto into an M30B35 Individual Throttle body 5 speed 535i. This project included pulling the m20 drivetrain, rebuilding an M30B35, manual swapping, and installing, wiring , and getting the M30 running inside the 528e. I have compiled every single clip from the past 12 months into a complete time-lapse with no talking. Enjoy 24 minutes of time-lapse showing this build from start to finish.
Anyone that can hold the trans in place with both hands and run the jack with your feet... Impressive!
Its a skill that took years to perfect ;)

Another awesome video! Please please do a new engine swap project: N55 turbo into an E36 or E30. Do it with the 6 speed auto or the 8 speed auto! N55 motors are not that expensive now and they are the improved more reliable inline 6 cyl turbo! someone has done it already but your channel doing it would be EPIC!!

Thanks man! But E34s came with m30b35, so swapping a b34 into one would be underpowering it. Not worth doing, unless you’re desperate for an engine to go in it

I just noticed something very disturbing in the background music, check for example at 23:38 at the break you hear the awefull BMW-chime.
Sorry for pointing this out, it is in more places in the music and it cannot be unheared from now on....

This is hot rodding. Built not bought. All that hard work wrenching to then go enjoy ripping it when done. Doesn't get better than that. BBS will not fit?
The build is so fun to me. Unfortunately BBS are too wide in rear with too high of an offset so they hit trailing arm, or they hit fender, no way to win
This doesn't help my E28 itch.
