I bought a new 2024 Canyon Denali and really enjoy the ride and the 2.7 turbo max has plenty of get-up and go, I’ve had it since march 8th and have put over 3000 miles on it. I was a Toyota fan for years until this year and I haven’t looked back, so far GMC hit it out of the park with this one. Thanks

I've driven Toyotas for over 20 years. I still have a 2, one is 9 years old and the other is 21. Both run like the day they drove off the lot. However, my son is 18 and I'm looking to add another vehicle. I just can't bring myself to spend 40K+ on a SR grade (not sr5), single cab tacoma that doesn't even come with a tail gate dampener. The Canyon is pretty high on my list, I just wish it came with a 6ft bed.

I’m only getting like 20mpg right now. I may just be slightly lead-footed.

My wife says that my 2024 red Canyon has the 2nd best looking rear end on the road. In her words, the driver has the best. I personally think she needs glasses but will accept the compliment. We love this truck. Great drive, very comfortable, very quiet and 22.9 mpg on a 50 mile round trip this morning, 1/3 highway and 2/3 in city and some rural roads.

Best I’ve got so far is 21.8 mpg, but maybe I have a lead foot 🤷🏼‍♂️

Only you can answer that question. As for myself, I made a different choice. I see the problems that these are having, and I'm also aware that they're under a stop sale order and for good reason.
    Does it look nice? Yes.
    Does it ride nice? Yes.
Do I like the electronic layout such as the headlights controlled via the radio screen? No.
I dislike this truck for reasons that you might enjoy it.
Just as you may dislike my choice for the reasons that I like it.
At the end of the day, we all pay for it. No one else. If this is what makes you happy, enjoy it.

Mines in the shop for 2 months so far needing a rear end at 3800 miles with no ETA on fix or parts! POS if you ask me. Same rear as previous gen with a terrible track record! Way to go GM!😮😮

Well your in the unlucky minority. Never heard of a rear end going bad. What's wrong with it?

@Silver Bullet: Thanks for the video and feedback. I have a question - I am 6’ 1”, 220 lbs. Am I going to be comfortable on a three hour ride? Also, my 15 year old son would be primary passenger, he is my height. Will we be banging elbows? Can a 5’ 5” wife sit comfortably in rear seat? Thanks again, appreciate the hard work and keep it up man.

I’m 5’10” and can fit fine in the rear seat. My dad is 6’2” and he drove it and fit perfectly fine as well. You guys might hit elbows if you’re going to share the middle console to rest your arms, but not bad.

So I have had nothing but problems with my 2024 canyon at4. Head Lights flicker, roof is very flimsy and buckles under car wash drying process. Now I have a small but noticeable dent in my roof. Also the alignment is off. I don’t need this kind of inconvenience especially after only owning it for a week

If GM is concerned with condensing their production by having this truck share the 2.7 with the Silverado/Sierra, imagine if they offered the 3.0 baby Duramax in it.... You'd see your fuel mileage increase and your net cost per mile decrease.

Or a twin turbo v6 like ford with more power and better mpg. Plus a better exhaust note.
