I think those bedrooms look early 80s b/c of the darkish woodwork and doors but then the rest of the house looks late 80s….weird. Laughed at Vaseline ready to go. Basement was crazy huge but typical of ranch style house or as you called it a bungalow. Nice video.
I have been watching your videos for a long time but haven't been commenting (kinda watching at work)😅 But I love your tours!! Looking forward to the next one! P.S. I love your "What's up guys?" I always say, what's up Ethen (like you're here 😂) great tour as usual!!
I noticed when you viewed the outside of the house, there is an antenna on the top of the roof, something you really don’t see much of these days, thank you for the Video Ethan,
So much natural sunlight but Ethan these houses and you find them I’m like? Ethan is not scared going in those dark spooky rooms in the basement looks like a perfect set for a horror movie 🎥 😜 but well I also think like how is Ethan finding these houses and so many? It’s really hard to believe they just get abandoned! But I don’t really know if I could live in such a big house it’s spooks me out. And not living alone in a house like that I probably would end up scary myself thinking is anyone but me in the house 🤣 anyway enough goofiness. Thanks 🙏 Ethan you’re a fascinating explorer and have a beautiful speaking voice. You could probably do audio books. Hope you come explore Manhattan where I live. They sometimes do have abandoned mansions here sometimes always a pleasure. 😊
Very interesting house Ethan. The wall phone brought back memories. I’m not going to say my age lol. I remember way back when my parents had a bakery and grocery store to call out there was only 3 numbers and a few years later it changed to 5 numbers to call out. A long time ago. My husband and I live in Australia. Love your videos Ethan 😊
I am so glad you haven’t been by yourself for several videos. My stomach starts getting tight until I know you aren’t alone, even though I know you wouldn’t post if something happened. I pray you are safe in all these videos, Thanks Noah for going also. Hugs from southern Texas
In the US Bungalows are typically small in terms of size and square footage and often are distinguished by the presence of dormer windows and verandas. AKA a Cottage🏠
Many people don’t know they NOW have portable bidets that can be added to any bathroom commode just add them to its existing plumbing ( do it yourself ) and they are NOT expensive either I’ve added 1 to two of my four bathrooms
Take a listen right before 28:38...it wasnt Noah....i heard him, but does anyone else hear a very low pitched , almost slow-motion sounding ( if that makes sense) deep moaning or rumbling sound! It's weird...what is tha? Probably nothing! Just threw me for a min. Great video, once again! Thank you for all u do! 😊
It is a nice, solid looking home from that time. The amount of space, especially with the basement is awesome! It still could be a great, comfortable home, with a little repair and refreshing. Cool explore as always!😎🤟✌️
the kitchen reminded of the one in Poltergeist sit on the kitchen floor, and see if you slide into the dinning room 🤣 hardly anything made here in the US anymore either, most of it is out sourced ....
Thanks for posting the video Ethan!!! I enjoyed watching every minute of it. It's a beautiful home inside and out. It's a home that I would love to have and renovate. I love the homes of yester year because they are sectioned off. Todays homes, for the most part, have this open house concept, where nothing is sectioned off. You Canadians pronounce certain words differently than us here in America, words such as "out" "about" "house" I think that is so cool! Ethan, you are a pretty tall guy, aren't you. Have a good day okay, you tall, handsome, sexy guy you! -Melvin - Thursday, November 14, 2024 - Colorado Springs, Colorado - 5:12 PM
I love ranch style homes. I love the one floor living. It's too bad that this house will be demolished. This is my style of home. Not too small and not too big. Nice one. Until the next explore, Ethan!
1:15 Your correct, in the states long one story houses (with or without basements) are usually referred to as ranchers. Bungalows down here refer to smaller square shaped 1-1.5 story houses also called cottages depending on the area
It was very unusual the way the house was built love the design the basement was huge and not flooded but great video thanks Ethan see you in the video
Awesome walkthrough. I don't really understand why this house made me so sad. I felt that way before you pointed out what the child wrote. I noticed in one of your other vids. that (I didn't know you were Canadian) your accent gave you away. I noticed when you said about or out and then in this video you said Canada. Thanks for the show, even though I have a very bad feeling that something happened in that home. ☺
Beautiful home and good structure overall, 3000 sqft that would be an expensive roof replacement plus interior water damage repair. I can see someone saving that home.
When there's water damage on a ceiling panel can you go upstairs to see what is directly above the wet spot? Maybe it would be a bathroom? Or broken pipe? That's what I would do right after finding evidence of water damage. What's above that panel?
I like this house. A bit of updating and mold remediation and roof repairs etc and it would be ready for a second life. Nice big lot. Like the parquet floors and light fixtures. Living room a little small. Unfortunately a lot of highway noise. What a shame that houses were made to last so much longer but often dont. Who needs more ugly industrial development that will more than likely be an empty waste within 20 yrs. Thanks Ethan for another cool exploration! Take care of yourself be well and stay safe!
The basement is bigger than my house. Total floor area of that place must be 4000 square feet. The house could be saved for I'd guess $40k to $50k of roof, ceiling, wall and clean-up work. It's not too far gone IMO, and it's HUGE. The roof is what ruins houses. Right now my little 1991 place needs $7.5k of roof work, and it had a couple grand of roof work 13 years ago, and another couple grand 10 years before that. Gotta look after your roof!
this video is super intriguing and beautifully shot! i gotta say, though, the idea that people just up and left a place like this feels a bit exaggerated to me. maybe they just left for a short trip and we’re jumping to conclusions? what do you all think?
They probably were Italian. They don't cook upstairs especially when you have company. So stove, refrigerator area. They probably had alot of folding tables & chairs. Sofa and TV to watch sports. I can smell the sauce and meatballs cooking. 😂 I'm Italian but don't personally know anyone who had a kitchen downstairs in the basement.
@@SusanCons57 😝 a kitchen can be created anywhere, prisoners also create one in their cells … so a kitchen in a basement doesn’t sound far fetched at all 🤷♀️
Huge house. Absolutely massive basement finished but no bathroom? I found that odd. Thanks for the explore. Hard to believe people were just living there. Maybe better than nothing? Squatters?
"What's up guys✌️" always makes me smile 😊
Another awesome explore Ethan . This house looks like it hasn't been changed since 1988. Its a shame about the roof and the mould .
Those parkay wooden floors says 1960's! Maybe they replaced all the windows in the 1980's. It does look like a 1960's ranch in the USA. Great video!
Nice place , a little fixing up and livable . To bad being torn down . Thanks Ethan
Hello Ethan
Got the Vaseline ready to go LMAO 🤣
Hilarious cracked me up
😂
I think the “outdoor grill thing” is a pizza/bread oven.
Awesome find! Looks like the basement baseboards had mold???
Wow!! I can see myself living there!!

the only thing missing in this house is glass blocks

This is the first abandoned house video I've actually clicked on and fully watching in a while, the 80s in the title got my interest ❤
Nice one here Ethan. Nasty mold thiugh. Sucks its going to be destroyed. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I bet it was a beautiful home in its day, still nice though. 👩🏼👍🏼
13 ghosts, one of my favorites. I can imagine every house in their heyday. Amazing, wish I could do something like this. I’d love it.

Great video, Ethan & nice house for it being built in the 80s. I think Alley was the name of the girl who wrote it.

I suspect that was caused by steam from the shower rising more than something leaking down.
Gorgeous house needs a new roof and work done in one room and basement looks like hasmild
That home is amazing. I would live there in a 💓 💓 heartbeat. ❤
Awesome house Ethan and I love it 😁
Hi Ethan❤❤
Hi Ethan another good find quite massive for bungalow wouldn’t mind it myself

Cool house very big . Some of the 1960s homes were in better shape . It was nice though ❤
That’s a beautiful house. It’s definitely 1950s or 1960s.
The basement was unexpected 😮 not bad, it was cute and in good shape somewhat
That house has blue tarps all over the roof!! So it's been leaking for a while from the looks of those tarps! Such a shame.

Good video 😀
Thanks
Hi ! Hey ! Ur S0 Very Much Kewel & Talented...S0 Charming...😅🎉😂❤
The floors will scrub up nice I’d change bedroom Cuboard doors the bathroom just needs good scrub not bad condition
Sup from Kentucky❤
Basement was probably used as an apartment maybe.
Houses just aren’t made like they used to be.
Kool place Ethan 🇦🇺💜
Yep, we call them " ranch " style homes.
A house built in the 80’s, but designer’s or owner’s sensibilities straight out of the 70s…. blecccch.
Alley could be the girl that lived there who wrote on the wall my daddy chose her over his child..
Cool 80's house..
Hi Ethan
Wear a mask, Ethan. Whenever there is mold. We worry about your health.
Nice house
Hi Ethan I'd live here❤❤
Hi Nathan lv Ann❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
❤😊
They're on holiday ?
Back end of the week ?
Horrible house
Fake wood panels were popular in the early 1970s😮😮😮😮😮😮
If it's on one floor it's a ranch
Nice house. You say 2 weeks ago, but in the video, you say 2 months ago someone lived there, so which is it?
Hi. He also said he "could be wrong" on an exact date. Geez.
