Absolutely loved this old farmhouse! The architectural details, the trim, is gorgeous. Thanks for stepping out of your comfort zone to show us this beauty.
Ethan find more like these!! This is amazing. They don’t build homes like these anymore. To me the fancier the woodwork the better. Back then they had pride and truly loved their homes.
You are so entertaining! It was your shadow, somehow the light made like two shadows against the door. Now the sound? I don't know, but that made it so much better!
Hi Ethan! Really appreciate you going into these majestic, beautiful abandoned places to show us before they are taken away forever. Also I like your style of filming, you don't take too long on stuff. Your videos are usually a half hour to under an hour which is great. You get straight to the point and keep it 💯 thanks for all you do!
With so many wanting a place to live, some volunteers, cleaning and renovations could turn this and cities like Detroit and many other cities with abandoned homes into new homes people can call home
It’s a nice house-a fixer-upper, but probably doable. I like these older houses, they have a lot of character to them. Dude, if you feel creeped out or uncomfortable just leave-it’s not that big a deal-no one is going to hold you accountable-think safety first, yours.
@@ethanminnie Well I respect your opinion. I always found old houses charming. Reminds me of my grandparents. But I respect your opinion too. I miss my Grandma and want to be like her that's probably why I like them 🥺
Some of this property was intriguing. The wood moldings around the windows...the wallpaper was rather cool. This one reminded me of my grandparents house when they first bought it. Years ago, as I was a little girl. Nice one.
Very interesting old home, the balcony added a great touch. I'm glad you pointed out the skeleton key. That was great! My favorite wall paper was the one with purple flowers. The others were as you said 'trippy'. Great video. Thank you for sharing Ethan 😊
Ethan this house is very unique because of its age and renovation, In between time it has stood the test of time as far as the quality of a home that it actually is I think if someone took the time to refurbish it on the inside a little bit it would be probably a really nice home. thank you for sharing you take care and be safe🫶🏻❤️🤠
Maybe but it would cost a fortune to fix everything up. It's a pretty big house for its age. I was not expecting it to have such a massive basement. If I had the time, money and people to help, I'd love to restore this place with a southeastern country theme.
Nice house when originally built but now just a hodge podge of different eras. At first I thought the “ghost” was your shadow but then when something fell, yeah, that was spooky. Always fun exploring with you.
Love the window bench and fireplace. The floors and dark wood must have looked spectacular in its time. The one and only bathroom upstairs were awesome. I loved all the built in storage. Great find! Until the next adventure!
It was your shadow. You can see it moving back and forth by the stairway. Out of the corner of your eye I can see how that would look like someone going up the stairs
You always have the best comments and a style I can relate too. Your videos give me great ideas as I renovate my 50’s house up in ole Saskatchewan. Thanks Ethan!
The house isn't too old for you, you're just too young to appreciate the craftsmanship and beauty of years gone by. This house was amazingly beautiful.
Thanks for sharing the video of the house. I just hope you don’t ever fall through a second level floor. Not making fun of you. As most would agree, older homes have more interesting and unique details to view. Yes, the house deserves a lot of tlc .
It was a great explore Ethan these are the type of houses that make spooky movies fun the thing I like was seeing the old black and white television set built into the wall and i do remember that video on that 1950s home with the built in television set and on that explore you had Terry Willson and Carlo Palooza and you were trying to work out the brand of the television set but great video and see you in the next one
I loved this old farm house. The crown type would fixtures above door molding very nice. Never seen anything like it. Wallpaper used to be so popular but not not today.. Liked the layout. Would love to have that cast black globe chandelier, love that look. I'm on the hunt now to find similar.
Hi Ethan, another great explore! There are many features in this house that I love! Fireplace, original woodwork and built ins and arched front entrance! Great job!
I love the outside architecture of the house, the stairs and the knocker on the door. The interior wasn't what I was expecting. Thanks for sharing! Blessings of love and light to all!
Someone is doing Halloween tricks posting videos and then taking them down! At least i got to see the last 2 of the 3. 🤪This may not have been your thing, but you have to admit she had great wallpaper, and yeah i loved the pink stuff and the boomerang counter in that upstairs bathroom (the green retro glass was cool too, but didn't match well with the other stuff). You had me cracking up at 'Bill Coburn. That was his thing, that was his chest!' and the hesitation to go down to the basement, and then doing it 3 seconds later. ❤😂 Maybe the house ghost thought you were acting too fancypants to be in their house. 👻🙃 Thanks for the explore Ethan! Take care, stay safe, and Happy Halloween! 🎃
Hi Ethan 😁 Love your explore, loved the wood detail, would take the paint off, the inside room’s trim and paint off the floor, the balcony upstairs outside was a thrill, the retro bathrooms were great, the built in TV 📺 was cool, in my youth as a teen I had dreamt of a front entrance to a house that had a built in panel that had buttons to do everything, probably a remote would have made it complete. I’m apartment hunting around here, and I’ve found two spooky homes, One has a sign turned over in the front yard. I like creepy, and have lived in old houses for most of my life, old funeral home, big farmhouse that was haunted, like everywhere else I’ve lived.and I’ve moved around 50 to 60 places in my time. Even the current apartment I live in now is spooked so what do you do, have a bag of sage wherever you live? Even stores can give the frights, but did find a cool antique shop that has really cool things, so if you find a home that has things it’s amazing history, long as it’s not over stuffed. Thanks for the snoop see👍✅🤓😁❣️
I think you freaked yourself out. That shadow you saw was you. You moved just right in the light and the shadow that appeared was your own. It's cool though. I think we've all done it before.
I like the old farmhouse too. And, I think the wallpaper designs were a nice addition to the home with the exception of the stripes. There's something about "old" that is attractive but I worry when you go up into attics that might have floor boards missing or feral animals congregating. Take care of yourself Ethan. Thanks for another unusual house.
As an Ubex explorer myself I know that what was suppose to be just an exploration of an old building can sometimes turn into the "Unexplained" and even if you don't believe in it....doesn't mean it can't or will not happen....GREAT FIND by the way...I love OLD buildings and houses....
I grew up in a 1913 Edwardian three bedroom with an attic that was finished, The only thing is, old houses now are in the second or third remodel. A museum piece is great, but they are almost impossible to live in now Every winter in the old place, the pipes used to freeze up in below zero weather...121 years is a long time in Canada...
The outside of the house looks a bit like the house from bates motel . That TV looks like the one that Ma and Pa Kettle had in the house that they won . Maybe that was the Ghost of Ma Kettle , telling you to come and get it , Ethan .
Hey Ethan, our house that we are have been living in for the pasted 43 years now, is 100 years old. But now it’s been two thick that made it into a house. I have been watching your really good video for years now. How do you go about finding houses to look at please? And it would be more of a blast if you would do more restaurant videos please? Take care! Thanks! 😊
Amazing gorgeous home. Architectural detail was fascinating, thanks for finding such a GEM, will never understand why people abandon these homes. Like to think they had great memories at one point. Thanks for exploring.
I can hardly believe you have no idea what you are seeing in this house. I'm bowled over by it. To do the restoration, re-leveling, full home inspection. Maybe have to add on about 75,000. to the sale price. I would BUY THIS HOUSE in a ❤ Heart Beat! This is Gorgeous.
This is the 2nd time I watched this and I am kind of freaked out. When Ethan was showing the upstairs, I kept hearing people whispering. I am not trying to make like this was a paranormal video, but it was freaky to me at least. Otherwise, I liked this video but I would never want to live here even though I liked this house. Thank you Ethan for posting!!👍
The “ bones” of this house are solid! Thank you for showing it- but I do wish your descriptions were more than-“that’s old or trippy- look at that wallpaper”! This house may not be in your favorite era- but Any house can be brought back to original Or modernized to your liking. Thank goodness the past business tenants were kind to it. The wallpapers of several rooms were iconic to its time period. Hopefully someone will come along to make it into a home once again. I agree with some of the comments- there are so many families in need of affordable housing. Someone needs to help facilitate repairs to existing structures- not just build from scratch.
Along with my last comment also two to restore it back to for the most part it’s original state. I think this house will be absolutely gorgeous and of course, with a few exceptions because of the times but I really do think this is a beautiful home that possibly can be saved but thank you for sharing. Take care and be safe.🫶🏻❤️🤠
At 14:25 or 26 right as you said "it looked like a person" an orb flew from left lower screen to upper right screen. Is this why you don't like exploring the older houses?? I live in an old house, about 150 years old. I've had a variety of "experiences" between this house and another even older property I own. It generally doesn't bother me. I believe you. I didn't see what you saw, but I did see the orb and heard the sound after that. No worries! They just sometimes like to mess with people. 😅 I truly love the very old homes. They just need a little love. That's why I live in one.
The older the house the more interesting it is to me. Seems like that old place is haunted. It looks like a Victorian Mansion. Thanks for doing this home. Loved it.
Thank you so much Ethan for taking us to another awesome abandoned house hunting this one was very intriguing I hope everybody had a awesome Halloween b❤
I know your shadow was casting on the wall there, however that doesn't explain the sound of something falling upstairs so I don't know for sure. It's a very old house and someone owned & lived in it way before it was a business place.
This is typical older home. The molding does not show the grace of an older home. It appears to be a simple design. I love older homes when they have lots of carved wood . The wall paper is pretty but does not really match the style.Ethan you have the ability to show any era of homes and point out special additions. Thank you for sharing this home.
Hi Ethan..fab explore as usual..house had some neat features, loved the bathroom ,...not your usual type of thing, bit too creepy for me ,dont know what you saw ,but i wouldn't of stayed around ..thanks Ethan stay safe well and happy 💋
I really love these old houses. They just don’t build them like this anymore. Part of my house was built in 1915 and an addition in the 70’s I think. It was at one time not only a home but a store and post office. There was a town in the pasture at one time too. A few weeks ago we found the harp, or plate, from inside a piano out there. Beautiful cast iron with the pegs that the strings attach to and are turned with a wrench to tune it.
That was spooky!👻 I do appreciate the various types of architecture from different eras. These types are very interesting with all the period details, but they do always creep me out a bit, especially ones like this, probably from watching scary movies 😬 seeing a touch of the fifties in the bathroom was cool, and the old built-in TV as well! I got my scare for this Halloween 🎃Cool and Spooky adventure! 🤟✌️
Cool house, i wouldn't mind living in it. Those water damages doesn't look too bad, should be possible to repair. The "Lufthansa" tag is from a german airline company btw.
Ethan, you're looking at your own shadow.
That's exactly what I thought!
You're exactly right.
He's looking at his own shadow.
You guys are definitely right!
Glad, I wasn't the only one who thought this, not a ghost dude, that was your shadow.
Lol yes
You are so entertaining! It was your shadow, somehow the light made like two shadows against the door. Now the sound? I don't know, but that made it so much better!

A little scary.
Better than any 80's or newer houses.
My thoughts exactly
i’d have to disagree. these places make me feel creeped out and uncomfortable,
Another beautiful home, just needs some TLC!
80s weren't too bad. 90s and onward yeah. Most modern houses look like hospitals to me
@@ethanminnie Well I respect your opinion. I always found old houses charming. Reminds me of my grandparents. But I respect your opinion too. I miss my Grandma and want to be like her that's probably why I like them 🥺

Great old house. I love that it was updated in the fifties. And I was expecting the basement to be terrifying. Thanks for the video.
It was! 😂
Nice house when originally built but now just a hodge podge of different eras. At first I thought the “ghost” was your shadow but then when something fell, yeah, that was spooky. Always fun exploring with you.
didn't he say the rooms upstair were used as offices?
Love, love, love this old house!! The pink bathroom is amazing!!!😍😍 Thank you for sharing!!!
Love the window bench and fireplace. The floors and dark wood must have looked spectacular in its time. The one and only bathroom upstairs were awesome. I loved all the built in storage. Great find! Until the next adventure!
Judging by the age of the house, Ethan, you may have encountered a shadow person … and one that didn’t seem too happy.
Shadow Person, very interesting. I would like to meet a shadow person someday
I agree! Definitely experienced spiritual activity!!! Cool freaking house though!!!
I think you saw your shadow...it moves the opposite direction you do cuz of the light?
There was a shadow person outside my window when I was little. Are older homes more likely to have them?
Hi Ethan I would rather have a house that old because it was built 1000% better
It was your shadow. You can see it moving back and forth by the stairway. Out of the corner of your eye I can see how that would look like someone going up the stairs
You always have the best comments and a style I can relate too. Your videos give me great ideas as I renovate my 50’s house up in ole Saskatchewan. Thanks Ethan!

anything past 1950 doesn’t really interest me. it’s just old and creepy to me lol
Thanks for sharing the video of the house. I just hope you don’t ever fall through a second level floor. Not making fun of you. As most would agree, older homes have more interesting and unique details to view.
Yes, the house deserves a lot of tlc .

Amen! I bet that the staircase was beautiful hardwood too.
It will take alot of work to restore them

Love the old woodwork, doorframe, light fixtures, etc. I would gut the whole house and restore it back to the original.
Dude. That's the second house you've been in where I am positive there is a squatter in there with you.
I was thinking the same and the crash sound being from the person upstairs- probably waiting for him to finish filming and leave.
Hey it’s free real-estate😂
I think it was your own shadow I saw against the wall.
Its really sad you dont appreciate older homes. That was a time when craftmanship was at its peak and architecture still had character.
That house looks great for 100 years old.
I loved this old farm house. The crown type would fixtures above door molding very nice. Never seen anything like it. Wallpaper used to be so popular but not not today.. Liked the layout. Would love to have that cast black globe chandelier, love that look. I'm on the hunt now to find similar.

This was a good one!
Love old houses , seeing how houses were years ago . Heard the crash but didn't see the person . Great one , thanks Ethan
The doors, bannister and spindles, and the door and window frames are art! Gorgeous!.

Awesome vintage 📺
Shame they painted all the beautiful wood...esp the stairs/staircase....Typical though.
