The Blond wood is Maple, when I worked for a furniture company their timber were sourced from Belgium the wood originated from Canada. There's iron in the water hard water creates white deposits calcium deposit. Very nice house I like the pink in the bathroom and pink inside closet.
At the second house I like the little benches at the edge of the decking and the mural over the front door. A great piece of land attached to it. Thanks for this great video Ethan.

Ethan it’s hard for me to comprehend the dynamics of how this individual was a billionaire and wasn’t able to pay these homes off and lose them to the bank and then went bankruptcy. I don’t understand how you can lose that much money in just a couple years but that’s just me. 😮😊

Went from moving vast amounts of inventory; to everyone realizing the covid molecule did not stick to hard surfaces for 3 days. All sudden this business stuck with warehouses full of product. Person here heavily invested in future profit. No velocity of revenue moving. Oops. I own all this alcohol and it's burning my portfolio.

Multi millionaires go broke every day. Billionaires, not so much. It’s not surprising that this person went broke though. I thrift quite a bit and post-Covid hygiene items were in huge supply everywhere, free even.

Or he could just be telling us a bunch on BS. I don’t understand how he knows the history and background to how every house becomes abandoned. If he can’t give us the guys name then he’s probably not telling the truth. Not to mention how many billionaires are there in Canada. Also he claims these houses were just claimed just after the Covid craze but they look too dated and run down to believe a wealthy individual would be living in these modest dated homes just a couple years ago. Yeah right.

The first is my fave. I loved both kitchens in there (put me on team light coloured wood for life 🥰) but i've got a hunch that the entire floorploorplan of the house on the left side was completely changed (as well as the basement) possibly sometime in the 90s. My guess is the original house probably had the stairwell to the left as you walked inside, and then maybe 2 small bedrooms, with the master at the back. That tub and sink were so pretty! I'm shocked at how bad the hard water stains were though (vinegar is a cheap fix). You went through house 2 so fast, but you're right that it wasn't the main feature in this video (i really liked the tub and painting over the front door though). Thanks for another great video & stay safe! 😊

The painting over the door was gorgeous and while the indoor pool when seen looked aweful, i think it was a place to maybe relax in between meetings. The other house i loved the bay windows. The first house felt too big to me. I liked the l shape kitchen in the second house. Seemed brighter to me. May have also been a guest house. A two for the price of one. Thanks Ethan! See you on the next one!

A lot of homes have the bathroom and laundry room in the same room. If you’re lucky there’s enough room for a wall and door but a lot of times there isn’t. I’d rather have them share a room than not have room for both. I guess it depends on where you grew up and how big of a house you had.

Basement panel ceiling is possibly made of stuff that was outlawed in USA probably around 79 to 81 because possibly it causes mesothelioma or lung cancer. Is soft to touch if it is that stuff. Likely meaning anyone demolishing the place will catch a bad case of death unless they are wearing specialist breathing gear and hazmat suites. If so the ceiling panels should be removed by hand and carefully wrapped and disposed of. However demolition people will likely prefer to fatally contaminate themselves and the public by smashing it up with machinery to fatally contaminate as many people as possible when the open top quarry truck drives through suburbia putting mega trillions of asbestos fibers into the air to lethaly contaminate everyone. 😊
