If mxgp took the 2k route, without micro transactions of course. It would grow the sport a lot seeing the actual riders even if it’s digital, it’ll also give a chance for riders to get their stories out and give super casuals more to give a shit about
There is no thrill, no feeling of speed and the bikes in reality are far from having that behaviour. It looks very clumsy. MXGP 2019 forever.

The was the main issue in the careers for these games in my opinion, the Ai were never really competitive and the speed and consistency of the riders never had correlation to the real life riders so every race you would have someone who would realistically get 15 irl win and then the riders who were meant to be your title rivals would too consistently place terribly, this all made the actual championships to not be competitive, you would just walk away with it without even winning all the time because the other riders couldnt be consistent. Now it seems that the Ai is more realistic and at least from this video i could see that at throughout the championship the same riders will be competitive so they stay close and on top in the table.
I so agree with this. The other issue I have is Adaptive AI. If they are in front of you, they will start to space out and be distance between riders and if they are behind you it is one giant mess of bikes. Which is the dumbest things I have ever seen. NASCAR games tried doing that too which is absolutely stupid. Why do game makers keep trying to make Adaptive AI work? Such garbage IMO. Bring back Rider ratings, like overall speed, Whoop skill, turns, etc. Then the AI have a personality with faster and slower ones. NASCAR EA had it in their games. It works very well

These games are such an eyesore in third person. First person gives you better game feel and presentation, better sense of speed, etc. How's the 1P cam in this one?

Im surprised, physics are great and skill gappy. This game is a step in the right direction. 9/10. Advanced physics is the way to go.
I wish it were the other way around but the MXGP games are much better than the Monster Energy games no question.
Hey Kellen, great video as always. During one of your future races/videos, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the credit payments and cost of in-game items.
The $5 Credit Multiplier DLC seems like an insult to players, as they have to design the game so you feel encouraged or obligated to buy it. I'd much rather pay $55 or even $60 for a game with a balanced economy that pays you adequately for racing and practicing. I would love to experience the MX2 and MXGP championship every year, but if I don't get paid enough credits to change gear multiple times a season I don't see a reason to play. Thanks for everything and looking forward to the next video.

That's not speed wobble. That's you not landing straight after whipping on the jumps.
My problem with motorcycle games is when you fall or the ai falls, the rider is magically respawned on the track. Too unrealistic. You lose 1 maybe 2 seconds. No incentive to be careful. If you fall and end up having to walk/run to get to your bike and mount it, that would be more fun, challenging and realistic
Moto GP 2021 does just that.

I haven't played one since 2019 so I think I might be interested in picking this one up, just to get my casual racing fix.
You picked a good one to skip on with 2020. Good first person cam, and fun to ride in that game, but if you got within ten feet of another rider it would go into slow motion making racing pretty impossible. But Supercross 4 is fun, and I normally am not a Supercross game guy.
Is it playable on the original Xbox one? I bought 2020 and couldn't even play it cause it was just like continuously studder lag or something after about 15 seconds of each race and never would stop.

Check online races and see if they still have the constant voice chat names off on the side of the screen. I REALLY wanna know if they left that bs in there or not. I don’t know how nobody talks about that and the inability to remove it.

That's what I thought too but it's way overdone... At most it should happen in choppy high-speed sections every once in a while but it happens on slow uphills or landings. Very strange

I ended up getting it to be fair haha! Decent game, i didn't play 2020 so 21 seems pretty good to me. Lots of people saying it's very similar to 20 though!
With the speed wobbles, try to use right toggle up and left nothing. Hope that helps you

I wish they’d get out of their yearly contract and just use their own talent to make a game very 2 years or so
If they do that, someone else will get in with MXGP and do the exact same thing as this current franchise

The speed wobbles are realistic and you were having it a couple of times cause you're messing up landings.
Them "speed wobbles" is called a tank slapper and they ain't just caused by speed, so that is correct with what they done happen to me multiple times in real life

Just bought this in the sales, not really played since 19. Made the mistake of starting off in 2 stroke thinking AI will be the same but they are on 250s. Can't seem to delete career (pc) and have got enough to buy a 250? Thoughts

Great video as always, but this will be another gp game that I dont buy. It just looks like a copy and paste. I am much more inclined to buy supercross just because you can actually jump it seems like in those games. The jumping in mxgp games have always looked weird like the bike weighs 3000 lbs or something.

It's totally up to you. If you have one of the recent two or three games they've made and are having fun with those and don't need more, than no, stay with those games. If you are somewhat like me and just want to play anything and everything moto, then I think this adds at least some cool stuff to check out. But it's totally your prerogative.

I'm struggling on Easy lmao probably because I'm mostly used to Gran Turismo,Need For Speed, Burnout, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Mario Kart. Which obviously are very different games.

No. No they haven't. And, they seem to get worse since MXGP 3. Honestly, I'd rather play all out with the national tracks because at least it has the "fun" factor in there.

Maybe 10 years from now we will have a moto game with realistic physics. The speed wobbles alone is a deal breaker for me....It's pretty fucking sad mtx Mototraxx and mx vs atv reflex are still better games than what's available today. Vote with your wallet amd refuse to buy the same crap year after year expecting a different result
Heavily recommend MXbikes even though the learning curve is kinda extreme
If I'm buying an arcade motocross game I'm ok with all out due to the fact that it's, well, fun? And the national tracks for download. The MXGP games seem to miss the mark on so much and get progressively worse.

No one asked for these BS speed wobble physics! Its like mx bikes slow physics but at speed. Who the fuck speed wobbles at like 30mph? These games could be great if they would fix the slippyness and just make the air physics feel smoother, not realistic, but smoother. It could be a great game to just hop on with buddies and on MESX I love the track editor tool, this series could be an awesome arcady hop on after work/school with friends type game if they just stopped trying to be realistic in ways that doesnt make sense. It’s like none of them have ridden a bike, at least Rainbow knows what is/isnt fun.
Mxgp and Monster energy Supercross the games are both a total lost cause these games are garbage and they keep producing them with minor changes mile stone or whatever who makes this game shame on you
