It had 2-strokes and 4-strokes, (as could be), and you can find cheater engines, just like we built them in real life, (made you crash more usually in the game though), and easily race other people on line. I played from my computer with a big joystick bought at a computer store/section back in those days. I don't remember signing into a club. Just get to the site, pick an open race, or start a new one for others to join. I remember some guy with the name "Hurricane" on a 125 going super fast. I don't know if there were on-line racing series or not, but I would have competed if I found one. Those days are gone. I ride a real MX bike again. :)

Hard to beleive that MX Unleashed was from 2004! That game was amazing for its time and had the best soundtrack out of any game that had been released up to that point
THPS wins the soundtrack award, but it was real good. So was the soundtrack for MX vs ATV Unleashed, I put hundreds of hours into that game in college.

In 1998 Motocross Madness was way aheqd of it's time. Ricky Carmichael 99 had the best Soundtrack ever thanks to MTV. And ofcourse in 2006, Motorstorm was the very first game that deserved to be called nextgen game. None of the games in this video ever got us exited like Motorstorm.
Good video but where is Genesis' "Road Rash"? It is also noted the lack of evolution in the PS4's graphics in relation to the excellent PS3. We see this in the soil, in the details of the clay, much more defined only on PS5
Man those early ones look brutal!!! Excitebike 64 was pretty good. You could get boogeying pretty good osnce you knew the tracks. I liked creating your own track too. That was fun.
Mx vs ATV was always fun. I really went deep into Trials though once Fusion released on PS4. I’ve got a few uploads of Trials, ninjas, diamond times etc.
I raced MX Madness 1 and 2 for days at a time. Best was online racing in mx madness 2. I was king when I finally earned a 2 digit # and lost it less than an hour later. Good times. 👍💯

lol it hasn't gotten any better since 2014. Now they're just updating the tracks and riders and adding in a new feature here and there to make us think we're getting something new.
