I have watchers her since 2020z She’s let her personality really shine recently. She’s cracked me up. The “Kids? Work? Christmas? Work?” No, you have no excuse to kiss my video from a vlog a few days ago had me laughing.
Dr. Dray, I must say you look so beautiful, fresh and alive right now! Like you're ready for the world! I'm not sure what it is.... maybe it's the color of your sweater or your perfect makeup application but you look amazing!!!!!
I love the makeup wipe drama/reveal. 😂 When I wear heavier eye makeup, my night routine is the following: I use the neutrogena eye makeup remover (or generic version) on a cotton pad to help break down and remove the majority of my eye makeup. Then I go in with a makeup balm to melt the rest of my makeup, rinse, then use a gentle cleanser, then moisturize. I find this process ensures my eye makeup is completely off in the most gentle way possible and avoid the makeup wipe preservatives. Using a cotton pad also allows me to dose the amount of makeup remover I use based on how much I’m wearing.
I'm laughing about you using makeup wipes. Just a note, when I want to switch eyeshadow brushes between colors, I just wipe it off on a clean towel. The microfiber ones from Costco for car washing work well. And then you can just throw those in the wash. That way you don't have to worry about stripping the bristles of your brush with alcohol or something harsh. Happy sunday!

Yes, that is a good tip! I do the same thing....just gently swirl my brush on a clean, dry towel. It removes all the powder residue! It's a lot less wasteful than using disposable wipes.
I bought a couple of five-packs of white wash cloths at Target for double cleansing. I throw them in the washing machine with bleash and :Lysol laundry sanitizer. I keep them in a basket by my sink.

I usually don't use makeup wipes either, but I traveled a lot last year and started using the water-activated Olay daily facial wipes because they are dry and easy to travel with. Once the wipe gets wet it develops a nice creamy lather that removes sunscreen and eye makeup really well.
I have been using micellar water to remove my makeup, and that really surprises me because when micellar water came out, I thought it was a gimmick! But it is truly AMAZING at removing makeup! And you don’t have to rinse your face after using micellar water to clean your face, but that kind of freaks me out. But I confess that there have been a few occasions where I was too tired to do anything other than cleanse with micellar water.
I use makeup wipes (you can find cheap ones) in morning and evening, not for their "cleansing" properties, but as a washcloth. I rinse it out and lather my face up with cleanser and then use the wipe as a washcloth and then wipe off sink and counter and throw away. I hate dealing with wet washcloths.
Back in the day I used makeup wipes to help breakdown makeup. I always wash my face after with a foaming cleanser. I guess that was my double cleanse before I ever heard about that term.
Hey Dr Dray, love your content! Just a tip on the makeup brushes. They make a gadget called a color switch that you sweep your brushes over to remove enough pigment to change colors. Of course, this only works with powders.
❤😊 thinking this too since dipping a damp brush into pigment isn’t always equal in pigment world ❤❤ 😂 sometimes the switchers show up at dollar tree 🌳 ❤
I have to admit I use makeup wipes to attempt to get my spf off after a 16+ hour shift as a nurse. The energy just isn’t there after that many hours lol
I use baby wipes to wipe my hands after picking up dog poop on my walks. I know I've not touched the poop--just the bags, but it makes me feel cleaner. Burt Bees baby wipes are the only ones that don't dry your hands.
Whenever I use a make up wipes, I follow up with a make up remover cloth that’s wet or rinse my face. Then a very gentle toner to remove residue. As far as make up brushes, use cinema secrets for interim cleaning
I use makeup wipes for my hands and sometimes when I travel :) since 2022 I have been using micellar washing gels and I have saved a lot of time and money
😂😂😂 Dr Dray is do adorable!!! I have used makeup wipes & ponds deep cleanser to remove makeup before washing my face for years. I massage in ponds and wipe off with makeup wipe and wash with a gentle cleanser Dr Dray recommended (Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin) & a silicone face scrubber.
There is something called The Switch, to use between products/colors. Also, spray brush cleaners….i spray then wipe clean on a machine washable microfiber cloth.❤
2 step cleanse. First step, I sometimes use a makeup eraser cloth but not a wipe. Also great for no water cleanse of makeup bushes until a full wash needed.
I've been using the wipes all along. Just kept it a secret here. 😄 I'm often just too tired at the end of the work day to wash my face to remove the sunscreen. I'm a guy, I don't use makeup. I like the Neutrogena Fragrance Free.
I have a phone mount that uses the cup holder. It's adjustable and has extendable arms and a large spring loaded holder. It's a bit on the expensive side at $30 but it works great. I bought two of them since the first one was so good.

I triple cleanse and makeup wipes are the first step , then wash with a cetaphil or cereve cleanser . Final step is a cotton round and micellar water to see if I got it all.
Happy Sunday! I love both of the Korean oil cleansers that you mentioned at the end--I, too, am currently using the Centella oil. Just a side note, there's a documentary on CNN this evening about K-POP and all the efforts that go into becoming a member of one of those prized bands; it looks fascinating, even if you don't like the music. Thanks for all you do!

Ah, all is right in my world - a Sunday Dr. D vlog. 😍 I laughed out loud twice- at the opening psycho music makeup wipes line and when you mentioned removing the drawers in the freezer so you can store the body. Brilliant. The light up metal cactus is for those that have nothing else do waste their ca$h on. Love the pj’s. Great vlog. Thanks🌻again. ☮️out from rural Rosenberg.
I totally LOL'ed at the comment about the drawers in the freezer making it necessary to disassemble a human body before storing it. Is there something you'd like to share with the rest of the class, Dr. Dray?? 😄
“Costco would ask me to promote their make up wipes and I would have to turn them down!” Plus “Those drawers would get in the way of storing a human body” LOLLLL Dr Dray you crack me up. Also wait i missed something. Why do we have beef with command hooks?
I’ve used Command Strips a few times and never had a problem with removal. The trick is you have to pull straight down (not out) and let them keep stretching until they release. One more hint - hold on to the hook when you’re pulling the strip down or it may snap back and hit you when the strip releases. (Good thing it was a small hook 😂).
We just got a costco membership so I love the insight into what to buy!! Although we started using powder in our dishwasher per the recommendation of an appliance repair person and haven't looked back. Apparently it cleans better than the pods. Also love to hear you are branching out with skincare, I've been here for years now and it's so fun to grow with you!! I've always taken your word as Bible lol.
I was using Neutrogena wipes and my face would feel irritated then I would wash my face with soa. Then I started using cerave cleansing balm and my face does not feel a thing. So i stopped the wipes and I'm happy with my new product
I only use makeup wipes on vacation and before that use my cleanser. It’s just easier to pack less liquids for the airplane especially when I go to Europe
I do use makeup wipes, but then I wash my face afterwards in the shower. I just use it to remove the most of my make up before I get in the shower. Or at least grab my face wash and a washcloth and then wash my face.
I've used them when I travel to Europe. Easy to use on a plane, a car or as a handy wipe. I don't often trust the water in other countries. I may use a wash cloth and water, after a wipe off. Great to use even without makeup but to get the sweat and dirt off my face.
I like wipes to take off my makeup so I don't stain my wash cloths. I then use a face wash to get the rest of the makeup. I pulled out my old WII fit just before Christmas. I am so out of shape. lol
