    I normally don't comment but thank you! Had car for nearly 4 years no issues, then it told me to top coolant. Topped up and a week later light came back on. Had the same spot where coolant dropped on the tray. Check your video, saw the position of the 2 pipes and found a hairline crack that's making it leak!
    Ordering now and replacing it myself see how it goes thanks again!!

      Thanks I got the part but the long screw where u lock in the two pipes, doesn't seem to fit? Doesn't slide in (3:36 area)

      @@user-bw3yq9yd2m are you using the same screw you removed? I guess you're referring to the gap where the lug from the new cooling pipe is sandwiched between the metal?

      Sorry all working now! Just read my typo, actually not the screw. It was the tube + washer that fits the gap. I actually loosened the other bolts on the bracket, and used a tool to wedge the opening wider to fit the new coolant hoses in. Then tightened it all up. Thank you!

    I have had a coolant leak with no evident sign of leak under the engine cover. One of the mechanic is suggesting to replace water pump he seems sure about that.

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  2 месяца назад +1

      I would think a bad water pump will leak fluid on the ground. Do you see anything under your car?

    The only thing I'm missing is the hose clamp you replaced the clamp that you cut off. What size is it and do you have a link for that?

    How did you remove the clamps on the power steering line

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  4 месяца назад +1

      It's been a while since I worked on this car. I don't recall having to remove the power steering lines. Should be able to replace the coolant pipe without removing power steering lines.

      @@DrivingIntelligence my apologies I was referring to the two clips that holding the power steeering hoses to the coolant pipe

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  4 месяца назад +1

      Sorry for late reply, your question is catching me for a loop. I did not remove the power steering lines. If you're referring to the two clips I show at the beginning of the video, I simply used needle nose plyers or a curved pick to pull the clips.
