Because I see online this model of Mesa Bow tip broken a bit in both Mesa II and Mesa 60 but more Mesa II, I think model is designed in a way that limb tips are easy to break. I also see 3Rivers is possibly discontinuing selling model that is really Old Mountain but sold under Traditional Only a 3Rivers brand, if Old Mountain has not discontinued the model.
@@greatplainsbow Yes, their may be a reason Mesa II is being stopped as a bow model. Even newer 60 inch version of original Mesa has an issue with same tips, however bow is missing Carbon core so issues are less likely. Now Old Mountain/Traditional Only has a 62 inch model called Oberson almost identical bow in shape only way different woods after finding out Mesa II has a design flaw. My thoughts are, get Mesa in 64 inch model and make a Mesa II off of as bow has more working limb by just a few inches for a Mesa 2.5.
With all that pressure on the glue joint on the tip...that has to be some strong glue. I would never trust it myself. But I am anxious to see how this turns out. Good luck. You might change my mind....(10 minutes later:) Wow!
I was very skeptical myself to be honest. I've been shooting it still here. No signs of failure. I ended up buying it from the customer. It's for sale now. Great shooter
Well actually it's because most of the video was filmed with a cell phone cause I didn't intend to publish it on RUclips, but after the repair actually worked we decided to publish it

Yeah I think you're right. I believe there is a design flaw in there. Unfortunately it costs as much to repair it as a new bow costs

Mic sounds funny, not sure if you got a new one. Also, my mesa had clear glass overlays, this one seems to have carbon overlays.
