Happy Trans Day of Visibility! Today I'll talk about how I learned I was trans, and what I did about it. I tried to keep this as lighthearted as possible. However, we will be riding through some rocky waters so make sure you have your life preserver ready.

Hearing about how your family treated you fills me with so much disgust and sympathy. Talk about being surrounded by people yet feeling so lonely - I’ve definitely felt that from time to time.
You are one gorgeous woman both inside and out. Hearing your story and Sasha Colby’s story about how your family didn’t accept you yet you could glow up to be such pure beautiful women inside and out makes my heat warm. We as queer people may have a tumultuous family life but family isn’t just blood related. Your friends are your family.

I'm so glad you got out of that situation. My best friend is trans, and she still has to deal with sleights both small and large from one side of her family. The other half is, thankfully, much more supportive.
