Don't know about it's real performance but I must admit it looks damn good, it's classy, it's sexy and aggressive at the same time. Maserati nailed it.

@@filippo6167 yah i thought it was going to sound a lot worse tbh. Basically the same as the f8 and better than new mcarlens and turbo porsches... still exhaust upgrade is probably needed if you want to get close to the sound of the lambos and r8s.

Not pretty, but stunning - by modern standards. Looks like something actually designed by humans. Restrained, classy, balanced. Ferrari, Lamborghini - back to the drawing boards. Mine would be white with all the black accents (including rims) done in dark blue. Bravo Maserati!

Mine would be white or light blue , with body-color accents and silver OZ superleggera rims.
And that hideous plastic in the engine compartment removed.

What it needs is an amazing exhaust note, Maseratis usually sound so good. In white, no so good looking. In almost any other color it is so pretty.
The White is so different in person it's so pearled that it almost hurts to look at in bright sun light

Stunning. Beautiful even. Everything Maserati should be. I would have it over the others. It just looks perfectly judged! Minimal but practical & you can see the engine! Modern design at it's best. Something I think has gone missing from Ferrari since they went in house on the design front.

@@aztroooo the engine is based on the QV engine which was based on the Ferrari 154 engine of family's. Of course this one is an evolved version and it's a work of art and a masterpiece of automotive engineering.

Three months later, Novitec has no solution ( to exhaust code and drive mode limited to only GT mode). No longer responds to escalation requests or further inquiries. Thousands of dollars spent playing their trouble shooting game with no proven improper installation. Now silence from scammer Novitec who had me sign no refund/return policy at purchase. All MC20 owners beware of Novitec!!!!
Background:
My MC20 had Novitec Sport catalytic converter, GPF pipe delete, and tektronic module installed. Catalytic converter efficiency code and confinement to GT mode was the result. I did everything that Novitec suggested I try, and some of these suggestions had no reasonable justification yet I followed them and sent documentation to Novitec to prove it. This trouble shooting cost me over $1000 to have my mechanic do the 'monkey shuffle' for Novitec for over three months with no solution and no responses anymore from Novitec.
HOW does this car reach 1700 kilos? HOW?? Does it have an electric engine and batteries? I don't get it.
I don't believe in that scale... 1700 kg is too much for that car.

The scale must be broken, its 200 kg off the claimed weight...and what are the chances to show EXACTLY 1700 kg ? Not 1705 or 1698...try resetting it or something.

They watched the car chase scene in the Spectre Bond movie and took a page from the Jaguar design playbook. Really wish Jaguar would’ve moved full on with that car, but looks like Mas beat ‘em to the punch
When this car came out it was one of my favourite newly presented cars. This still is one of the coolest looking (super)Sportstars on the current market, though the Lotus emira is probably an MC20 in lighter, less powerful but less than HALF the price. And the sound is better as well since it is supercharged and not turbocharged (applies only to the V6 of course).
But, they're also in entirely performance brackets. The MC20 launches harder, brakes harder, corners harder, and generally exists on a different plane. The MC20 was made to munch Ford GTs, 675LTs, and 458 Speciales. The Emira will be lucky to keep pace with a base 911.
@@flyingphoenix113 That is True but is it more than 100% the fun…? I doubt it and with a manual it could even be more fun. They’re both fast and the emira has a Power that you can somewhat use legally. The MC20 is a track car, the emira is a backroad fun car.

You can see how much is based on the Alfa Romeo 4C (same monocoque) and how it would had to be the Alfa Romeo 6C, but then plans changed on the last moment to give Maserati a boost. Despite all of this, I absolutely love the exterior. It's clean, subtile and very classy. The weight does suprises me in a negative way. It should have been a lot lighter. I don't think it would be a lot faster then my current 4C (tuned). It is on the other hand a car which I'm interessted in.
Besides, there is already an Aero package from the factory. No need for @Novitec to give it a lot of spoilers. Once finished I would love to put the 4C against it on an airstrip! You can invite me
Your tuned alfa 4c puts down 2.9sec or better 0-60mph runs?? That’s low 11sec times!! Do you have videos of that? My Guilia QV is tuned and I think it might be a 3.3sec 0-60…

You can definitely hear the Giulia QV/Stelvio QV sound here. But what I really like the most about this car is its value-for-money appeal. £190K for a 600+bhp mid-engined supercar is hard to come by. The last time I saw such a figure was the 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB.
Z06, turbo, nsx, r8. This is a good looking car but has to value as appeal lol

Supercar used to have V10 or V12 or at least V8 engine, that's why Porsche never include on those categories since it only has a 6 cylinder boxer engines and they put it to sports car categories. And now V6 have become a new supercar. So sad that now it's going rare to hear a V12 roaring
blame the EPA, Ferrari's will also in a few years start with v6 engine options. Sad time to live in.

Can't wait for the Novitec version as this car is really nice already. As far as EV goes, I wouldn't waste my money. These EV zealots are fooling themselves if they think those cars are the future. Hydrogen fuel cells are breaking into the car market and when the technology fully emerges, EV will be the T-Rex of the industry. Grab an EV as a collectors version if for nothing else.

are you actually joking? Corvette is a cheap toy compared to this. Bro the Engine in the vette isn't even a high revving engine. It's lacks refinement, it's handling is still stuck in the past and it's not even carbon fiber. GM has no clue about F1 tech in engines anyways. All they did with corvette for the c08 is they made it mid engine. The problem is the rest is still a cheap ass GM corvette product.
