it realy cool that you published a video, that was sitting there for over one year. Also very nice take on the optional theme. I actually think the one room mecanic reflects the time back then better, than a camera following the player.
Scrolling would have 'smeared' the pixels on an original Nokia if they move too fast. Plus, separated rooms just read better visually. Gotta think about your medium. ;3 I like the spikes and the little guy, for some reason. I think there was some sort of 'Pitfall' clone for the Nokia, and I am somehow flashing back to that. Aw, yee. Not the 3310, but both my grandparents had a Nokia 1100 at one point. I used to play Snake and Space Impact II whenever I got the chance. That's some good memories.

Instead of the hole, making the thing an actual keyhole shape might have made it more obvious
I didn't have the space sadly. Couldn't make a key hole readable in 4px X 4px which is the space I had to work with.

I kinda like the screens changing instead of scrolling because it matches more with th medium
I have so much nostalgia for cell phone and graphing calculator games.
It seems easy to make one.
Maybe even something like a gameboy game could be made with the same thought process

The 3310 was my second phone (my first was a hand me down weird prototype Ericsson from my uncle) and had it in 9th grade.
The legend is back when we needed him most
My first mobile phones didn't even had games on them and the first time I used a phone at all it was stationary and had dial disc.
I was just a bit later than you I think. Didn't have a rotary phone but did have a land line with the cord until I was about 16.
I thing the Game really looks and plays like a old Nokia game.
