I think the boom in game jam participations the last year's due to covid, has made us a bit numb to what one can expect from game jams. It is easy to overlook just how great of an achievement annual jams like this actually are, and the incredible impact it has one the community! Awesome job as always.

Wow, amazing jam and so many amazing games. It was super cool to see Burnwood in the results video! VimJam has been so fun these past three years.

Yo, thank you for featuring Balmy Pass! This jam was so much fun and you've garnered an amazing community on this side of the internet.
I highly suggest anyone interested in making games to participate in the next VimJam no matter how much experience they have!

Whoever made the Frozen Hellth game thank you! I have not been able to think of a game idea that I would enjoy until now, you gave me some really good inspiration with the placing platforms but only for a certain time mechanic.

Making this my first jam is one of the best decisions I have made even if I didn't make it to the top 100's.
It was honestly so stressful (since I challenged myself to learn a new language + framework),
but I did enjoyed accidentally making bugs, fixing them and playing random games from the jam!

I love that you try to fit as many games in the video as possible, even if they didn't make a top spot. Those couple seconds where you showed my game (Thermodynamics) made my day!

Vimlark's videos inspired me to participate in my first game jam, maybe a year and a half ago. It was nice to finally participate in the Vimjam. :)

The community you've built is really welcoming and so talented, I love these showcase videos! I'm genuinely humbled that I made it into the top 10 for this jam, this year's haul is such a solid chunk of great games. Thank you for featuring my game! (Hot Crossed Guns) It was a blast to make and I'm even more excited for future VimJams! To all the other jam participants: yall are rad and your games inspire me to keep improving!

This is so cool! One of my favorite things to do when I see a game jam is to write out how I would make a game to fit it, and this one caused many fun concepts to come out.
My idea for this one was that you were playing as a chef, and you had to make as many high quality dishes as possible. The problem is that your oven only has two settings, high and extremely high. The main focus is on a sort of mini game constructed around the oven that uses multi-use components, but most of it's charm and replayability came from randomness and the dialogue.
I really enjoyed the theme and the core concept, as well as seeing all of the other entries. Amazing video overall, the RUclips algorithm is sleeping on this.

Thanks for the jam! It was really nice to have 10 days for developing a game instead of just 48 or 72 hours. There where some pretty great games that I played and I'm glad they got mentioned in this video and get the coverage they deserve.

I had a lot of ideas for this jam, but sadly my busy schedule between school and work doesn’t give me much dev time. The main idea I had was that you were a robot that malfunctioned and caught on fire and you had to find a way to get to the fire extinguisher before you burned up. Hopefully I’ll be able to participate next time!

I’m a bit sad that I wasn’t able to make anything in time for this jam since my Steam Deck USB hub arrived too late for me to be able to make something. On the other hand, all of these look games great!

Hi, my name is Jackie (He/Her). I really enjoyed playing the game Balmy Pass. It made me smile for a little listening to the screams as the people fell into the fire even though I was in the hospital because of a certain medical condition. Remember everyone, practice safe sex :)
