Some of the games I played had some incredible art, great stories, and fun gameplay. But for some reason, you pick my game, Dungeon Dash, as a game worth a full mention. Seeing Vim talk about your game for 2 minutes is kinda surreal. Thanks for the jam and for the videos!

I love that art style have you thought of making a full game in that style? Maybe a cute metroidvania or a cute dungeon crawler style game. I’d love that!
Hey @Mason, thank you! Aside from an update I've been working on for this very game (+5 levels and QoL stuff), I don't really have any gamedev plans atm. Glad you liked my art style though, makes me more confident to try new ideas in the future :) And yes, I LOVE metroidvanias and dungeon crawlers

This was my first game jam and I loved the experience. Sometimes when I start to make a game I never finish it because I dont have a deadline so I keep procrastinating everything always. Thanks to this game jam I was able to push myself to finish it on time, and I did it!!! :D
I'm really grateful for the feedback I received from everyone who tried it and the all the tips everyone gave me to improve my submission.

Great series of games - I absolutely loved Rewinder, anyone know what it was made on?
Spear Fishing kinda reminds me of Pokemon Ultra sun and moon where you would ride on the legendary pokemon and go through the loops to go further

This was a fun jam! I didn't place but I got 14th in art which is a personal best :) EDIT: and 52nd over all so that ain't too shabby

i didnt know there was this much game jams im planning on becoming a game designer and i hope to win(and have fun of course) i have coded about 8 years ago but took a break until now im starting today(not for this jam tho)

Hi vimlark I am from India please tell me how to design and animate game character easy way,what is the easiest game character animation software.and please suggest easy game art,like game character,and level design,because I am not a good artist.
I use Aesprite and pixel Edit. Pixel edit is great for tiled backgrounds. I use construct 3 to build games which also has a built in editor for pixel art. There are so many options. I'll do a video on it👍❤

I just played distress signal for the first time, I beat is 0 deaths first try idk why people say its hard I never went below half health and didn't
even know there was a boost or strong attack
