      They said they will use the Valkyrie AMR PRO as their inspiration, thing is the Valkyrie AMR PRO is already mostly an LMH car by regulations.
      In other words when it comes to looks it will look almost the same.
      When it comes to engine and performance however that's a completely different story.

      You can find pictures of their LMH program prototype, in early stages, on the internet and the only thing that looks different is the spoiler in the back.

    I’ve been regrettably slow in getting around to watching this - Triple Crown Racing is the most criminally underrated sportscar channel on RUclips, hopefully the current boom in WEC/IMSA popularity will provide an opportunity to put you on the map like you deserve!

    Even though it seems developed from ground up as a race car with base from AMR Pro, actually, it is the closest LMH prototype to a road car, cuz many of key aspects, like V12 engine, and overall contour design, are carried over from each other :)

      It's the only one that's actually based on a road car.
      The previous ones were racing cars made into road cars.

      @@K3b1bisLtu I like the idea of road car to LMH, easier to stand out from rest of the crowd. Many people want to see Mercedes-AMG pull the plug from F1 factory team (remains as engine supplier) and focus on returning to Le Mans in LMH (NOT LMDh). I think in this regard, why not make second gen AMG One road car to meet LMH regulations from day one?

    • @K3b1bisLtu
      @K3b1bisLtu 2 месяца назад

      @jimmyjiang3413 image how a mercedes amg one would look racing against the prototypes. It's like 2 times bigger than them. Would be funny
      I think if mercedes wanted to make an LMH car, they would need a new platform.

      @@K3b1bisLtu but still needs to be better based on a road car using a road engine (NOT LMDh), while retaining its in-house F1-derived hybrid system (AMG E-Performance hybrid), and use a racing-modified M178LS2 (flat-plane V8 turbo) This is why a second gen AMG One needs to go more relevant to LMH ruleset than F1 rules. Focus on endurance of components (hence to accommodate WEC LMH and IMSA GTP)

    I certainly hope it brings Aston Martin a Le Mans win, though with the level of competition in the class it won't be easy. I certainly don't expect them to win in 2025, since the program will still be relatively new, and most other teams/manufacturers will have more experience by that time.

    wait... would that make Aston martin only company to be part in GT, GT3, GT4, Hypercar, and F1 class of racing? or am i missing anyone? both ferrari and mclaren are not in all the classes i think.

      @@fqeagles21oh god here we go but this is wrong. Toyota has 2+ years of experience on Ferrari. If you look at the first races, the amount of mistakes made by Ferrari and other teams compared to Toyota was noticeable. Also with Toyota having a deeper understanding of the car compared to Ferrari and other allowed for Toyota to get more out of the car. It is not about the BoP, it’s about how much a team can get out of the car. Yes BoP does have an impact but it’s mainly down to how much the team can get out of the car. If you still wish to complain about the BoP in the earlier races let me remind you Ferrari had pole in Sebring and was competitive in Portimão and Spa. Toyota had an SS tier race pace compared to the other teams, now the other teams have caught up. Aston will more than likely have the same teething issues/problems and it will take the car at least 2-3 races to get anywhere close to the current competition. Combine that with no hybrid which decreases the acceleration speed and Aston have some work to catch up to the current teams.

      @@fqeagles21 Porsche and Toyota were just better at that track, plus the strategy that the #6 Porsche ran allowed it to remain out front. Even still Ferrari finished 4th and 5th. There is no complaining about BoP, it’s all about how the car handles on track. Once again BoP does have a slight impact but not enough to change the whole race. Even at Monza Ferrari was there finishing 2nd and 5th. I don’t see what you’re complaining about since Ferrari hasn’t been screwed over by the BoP.
