Why should they make it easy for people to understand?? Can't they all just use gt3? Probably less costly to develop and easier for fan to understand

What if the world endurance championship GTE cars or currently gt3 lm cars where to be replaced by a class similar to the super gt500 cars? Would it be faster then the current hypercars or slower or somewhat competitive?

To clarify for those who don't know:- GT means Grand Tourer, a category of luxury brand performance sports cars built for racing while also being street legal. From my perspective, the reason why auto manufacturers and amateur teams attend racing events is because - it is one big advertisement of their products; a demonstration of engineering and performance ; basically saying---, "look how good our car technology is, buy from us." I've grown up watching different motorsports from the early 2000s and played many racing video games. So I have some understanding.

These USA fans are so.... let's be gentle and polite; USA fans are bias. For a country without pilots on #1 motor events, and noticeable behind Japan car brands, USA is nothing when compared with Europe.

USA = shit cars and inexistent pilots + years away from Japan.

USA drivers are decades away from the European drivers: you cannot find any one of them in relevant qualifications in F1, F2, WEC, WRC, MotoGP, MX... you name it! The same on USA car brands: exception on Corvette, with some noticeable results in lesser classes, you cannot see results like European ones (Audi, Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin....). USA is so retarded on it, that even to catch Japan on both pilots and sport cars, they need a miracle. Or two miracles: pilots miracle and a cars miracle, as said 😢😢😢

I saw one of the videos about the evolution of Toyota’s LMP1 car, and I saw that the ts030 has a rV8 klm V8 engine producing 530 horsepower, combined with a electric motor that produces 300-350 horsepower making it having nearly 900 horsepower. If this is the same engine that is mounted on the Toyota Prius gt300, does this mean that the car has exceeded the upper limit of 500 horsepower?

I appreciate you covering these cars. There's not a lot of information about them since they were short-lived and not very popular. I was stoke to see the Mazda 6 come to the US with that engine but sadly it never happed.

Diesel is the only thing to go racing with. The age of gasoline has come and gone, electric cars have flopped epically on the market (and there isn't much to do racing in an electric car, all one does is turn the wheel left-right).

one thing to note, one of the main reasons ferrari won le mans is that toyota were hit with the BOP hammer maybe a bit too harshly, i get that competition shopuld be close, but the BOP at le mans practically gave ferrari the win, toyota shouldnt have been punished for building a fast racecar and expectle mans they won every race in the season. TLDR: toyota should have won le mans hadn't it been for BOP

This ranking is absolutely horrible. Everybody agrees Porsche and Cadillac is better than BMW

If I were making a list without a points system I would rank them like this. 1st: Toyota 2nd: Ferrari 3rd: Cadillac 4th: Acura 5th: Porsche 6th: BMW 7th: Glickenhaus 8th: Peugeot 9th: Bykolles Worth noting that it wouldn't be unrealistic to swap Porsche with Acura or swap around BMW, Glick, and Peugeot in any order.

How did BMW get higher then caddy!? Bmw did far worse in imsa than any of the others and given the 2024 Daytona 24 they also sucked.

Myer Schank is gone because Honda dumped them over ethical concerns and the interest in WT and Andretti.

I would have to rank BMW, as much as I love the cars, behind Caddilac, Porsche and Alpine. Gonna miss Glickenhouse as they were always fun to watch.
