Hi !! nice video, but as you use Poliester Resin, the carbon seems little yellow colored. We think is a good use of the polyester resin for the first coat of resin, the one that comes sticky for the Forged Carbon Fiber, but later can be apply transparent epoxy resin for a better finish look. Almost, better if you lack them with 2k lack, for UV protection. Nice work !! continue like that. Cheers.
Polyester resin is for glass fibre. And goes off in mins not hours. Epoxy resin is what is best Do your layer and wait then lay the carbon down. In some places use a heat gun to help bend into place. Iv done loads. Try mix carbon chopped and add colour Christmas tinsel to add effect it’s brilliant
Any epoxy ? Or a special model ? Can i use the epoxy resin we use on the ground ? I want to know if there is a special type of epoxy resin for carbon fibre ?
Lovely vid. I have the same annoying issue with the clearcoat... I just can't get it glossy enough and I have a rotary polisher(!). Have you changed technique or products since this vid to enhance the gloss at all?
Not glossy enough You don't want to use 1000 grit for polishing, you need to start from 2500 light sanding, otherwise you peel the clear coat.... bad result

I've used vinylester resin for all of my CF projects. UV / heat / chemical resistant.

I've used an epoxy buffer and polish product that seems to retain the gloss and make it smooth.
Spraymax 2k clear is amazing.
Lepas sanding bro lap guna cecair apa tu share boss
where can i find the peel ply??
How many ounces of resin and epoxy? All these videos never tell you how much they just do it.
What is the thing with which you rubbed it after using 120sandpaper
acetone
Don’t bother with peel ply just fit clear plastic over it won’t leave any marks
What are the materials needed for this
Everything I use is listed in the video
@@CERTIFIEDCarbon no it's not listed properly at least tell us everything you used so we can know

@@משרדרסולי I didn't use polish on this one. Work in progress for my first one. I've got more to come.
Sorry but that's just an eyesore...I'd rather have fake Carbon fiber
