Now i want a moopsy/nibbler death match.
"If not friend, then why friend shaped?"
To lull you into a false sense of safety while it hunts your delicious bones of course...
Moopsy is an absolute menace, but look at that face… I just cannot bring myself to hate it.
I am tempted to make a remix of the moopsy saying it's call and then scream metal and techno starting with the screams of horror from the Lower Decks characters inserted in the song breaks.
I can't wait until this ends up in one of the live action shows and just slaughters it's way through a couple of Red Shirts. Maybe the Section 31 movie? Love to see Georgiou fight a couple of these.
This would absolutely happen if they got The Daniels to write and direct.
God, I want to see that film.
Section 31 shuttle crash lands on the planet.
I don't know why I was randomly recommended a video clip of this thing, but tell me Moopsy doesn't look like a pre-evolved version of Kyubey from Madoka Magica 😂
They give a seal a run for it's money, (in terms of roundness and cuteness) .
We will remember you, Rick... O7
I'd love to see how the Borg would approach the Moopsy, given they are part organic would the Moopsy attempt to attack?
Remember how the Borg queen looked after being engulfed in plasma in First Contact? Yeah that's the moopsy for ya.
Well, there are the borg tribbles in STO...
"species 75567: incredibly dangerous. No useful biological or technological distinctiveness to add to our own. Exterminate with prejudice"
@@AzraelThanatos I am sorry. What's this now? Borg Tribbles? That sounds simultaneously fascinating and a waste of assimilation. I mean, why would the Collective get from a Tribble's biological and technological distinctiveness?
@@Blasted2Oblivion To be fair, the Borg Tribbles were just meme-y pets that did nothing except being Tribbles with some Borg implants sticking out. Certainly nothing the Borg would realistically put nanoprobes in... but then again, wasn't there a mention in Voyager that sometimes the Borg would assimilate planets by beaming nanoprobes into the atmophere, effectively assimilating everything on the surface? I'm guessing that is how you'd get random Borg critters.
The Moopsy Plushie will immediately become popular, I suspect... 😏
Why do I feel like it would offer me a contract to become a magical girl?
Oh good. I'm not the only one who got Kyubey vibes from the thumbnail
You don’t know fear until u see Moopsy.
the most adorable little vicious savage killing machine in Trek so far.
I want to see ST:SNW do a joke episode about the moopsy.
I like to imagine the horta keep them as pets
Mariner’s reaction when she saw it eat the predators basically mirrored my own: “HOLY ****!”
The moopsy reminds me a bit of Mr. Frundles from Rick and Morty.
And the guy who runs the menagerie reminds me of that John Oliver cell who ran Anatomy park.
I have my own metabolism theory for the moopsy, the creature is metallic consumer. It converts light metals in bones and marrow and excreted it as an oxide. Thus making it an obligate carnivore who contributes nutrients back into the soil. Thus making it a keystone species.
The new moopsy plushie for children newborn and up will feature laser cut titanium razor-sharp teeth hidden inside its mouth to emulate the "cute but dangerous" aspect to its character.
Available November 28th!
In case of Moopsy release, call Lieutenant Ashley Ketchum, who has extensive experience and specialized equipment in capturing cute, but dangerous creatures.
To hell with the Dominion or the Borg, I'd rather face them than Moopsy or Mr Frundles....
Since daleks don't have bones they have nothing to fear.
i haven't really seen lower decks yet, but this creature looks a lot like earless version of kyubey from madoka magica. hell, i would even say kyubey is a subspecies of moopsy that instead feeds on the despair of human girls
I’d rather say it’s a bioweapon made by the Incubators
I need my own moopsy ...I need it a lot .
I love that the Moopsy is chill as long as its enormous bone hunger is sated.
It's like an animalistic Kirby!
Bone vampires have changed a lot since I last saw them…
Reminds me of Fizzgig from the movie Dark Crystal.
You kept saying it's fluffy, but I don't think there was any indication of that... I thought it was all soft skin, like a naked molerat or something.
Best clue that it’s fluffy is the fact that it has little pink toe beans (aka the skin on its feet) like a cat.
Furless cats are pink all over like their toes. If the Moopsy was all white skin then why are their toes a different color?
Also as a side note, their cheeks seem to sport stylized tufts of fur.
I'd love to hear a conversation between a Moopsy and a Nibblonian.
It’s time for the Klingons rise up and begin the Great Moopsy Hunt.
outstanding episode title "I have no bones, yet I must flee".. UP there among the very best in all of Trekdom (rivaled only by multiple DS9 ones in my opinion)
...Good God, it's a white fluffy Metroid!
I love how it sees it's world through the lens of a rainbow. You couldn't make anything cuter
