He's already on a different level than other hip hop artists in the way he controls everything from the lyrics, beat to the art direction, aesthetic, visuals, everything. The way he switches up his style with every album successfully reminds me of Bowie and Prince

So many of my friends old white parents use lil wayne as an example of the worst of the worst but this is a very intelligent man and a rap legend. Shame on anyone who hates on this dude. He came from nothing and still turned his life into something more influential and wildly successful than any person who would disrespect.

A lot of people who dont know hip hop think of lil wayne as a mumble rapper with no actual substance in his music just because of how new his style was. Hes hard to understand sometimes and if you dont really look into his music you might think hes not very good.

Bruh Kendrick has been M.I.A since black panther soundtrack. He needs to drop more frequently or at least do something outside of rap to stay active. Kanye at least updates/lies on twitter and drops shoes frequently.
@@CT.ALEXX_ I completely disagree you have to drop more than 4 studio albums, an ep and a soundtrack album in one year to be the most important of the decade, every time he has dropped it's either been one of the most critically praised albums of the decade or been cultural landmark of sorts. Although yeah Kanye does constantly stay relevant through weird and controversial album cycles and comments, which does sorta keep a constant buzz around him where as kendrick is happy to disappear for a little while

@@Dwyanerose Honestly, it's hard to say, because he's sported these cuts at different levels of success, wealth, comfort and age (all of which contribute to how good a person looks).
It's easy to say he looks best with his current braids/beard combo, but who knows how ugly it would have looked on him fifteen years ago, before the wealth and comfort?
