These "keep it simple" paint exercises are great to boost confidence for those of us that tend to overthink and doubt our skills, ability and such 👌

Another great video made to look easy. Sir your skills include painting, teaching, directing, editing, speaking to, and in my opinion you have clearly mastered them all. I can't right now, but maybe 9 months or so, or hopefully sooner I will be join your class. I learn so much from each tutorial you share with us. Thanks for sharing

Mark, AWESOME tip in sharing about the drawing glove. I used to use a piece of paper or tracing paper underneath my right hand. I always used to worry about making sure the paper was always under my hand. But now using the glove, I really do not have to worry about affecting a graphite drawing or in this example, acrylic paint. I would suggest everyone take your lead and purchase a drawing glove. It is not expensive and really can free you up from worrying about possibly smearing your work. Oils from the skin or sweat can really mess up a work and it can be very difficult to try and erase after the impact has occurred. Better to be safe.
Thanks again for sharing yet another tip. I wish you and all the members the best. As usual, another great video. Have a great weekend. 🍺Cheers!

Thanks so much, Robin. Protecting the paper in graphite (or charcoal) drawing is a absolute must for me as well. I used to use wax paper to keep my hand off of it because man one finger print can ruin an entire drawing! Any oils from your hand can really though off a drawing. I agree, better to be safe. Been really enjoying the glove for airbrush work. I found my hand slides easier across the canvas as well which is a nice added bonus. Cheers Robin!

Very cool, I've never tried to do smoke or true fire negative. Ill defiantly be trying that rather than fighting blue shift. Great stuff as usual.

Im actually working on a piece right now that this would have been perfect to try on (smoking sage in black and white). Way to far along now so next time.

Thats awesome! Sounds like a really cool painting. Yes, It helps a bit with the blue shift but it's still there in some of the overspray. Not a big deal to me in this one though. Thanks Duane! @@duanemarshall9486

Thanks! My favorite is liquitex professional varnish. I also like the uvls clears by createx. Both are solid options.

Thanks! My go to paints these days are createx illustration and golden high flow acrylics. Both are awesome paints. Golden high flow is permanent and non erasable though.

Ha, I’m glad you mentioned the High Flows - I have all of them. One more thing… DO you have a portrait class?@@theartworkshop

I love golden paints- one of the best paint brands ever. No, I don't have any specific classes. It's just youtube tutorials, but I have a few portrait lessons on here. @@PastaDNA
