I have heard the black gay comment, I beat the hell out of the person. As for girl and boy reference I don't get asked that often but my dates do since my type are younger pretty boys. What is funny about that is I am a masculine man and a bottom. So when I point it out to the person asking that stupid question they always have the look like I poleaxed them in the face.

People are taught hateful things but now a days in this new generation it’s so important to teach youth to love themselves no matter who they like. Von...I love you being part of the shows. I am from a rural town not too far from Raleigh and Charlotte, NC and frequently go there. It was really cool hearing those mentioned. I have been to Tennessee as my daughter lives in Ashville, NC and is a little over an hour away. All of you were great and gave insightful answers to crazy questions or reactions of others. I really enjoy these shows and learning Korean reactions to topics expressed. Great video 👍

I’m was born and raised in Atlanta and currently live in CLT. I agree with Vonn that as these cities have grown there a lot more ppl and it’s not uncommon to see our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters living their best lives.
My brother is gay and I love watching this content because I learn even more. Thank you for your openness on issues that impact all of us. For those of us who care, when we know better we do better. My brother just got engaged b/t/w…we are super excited!!!!

When I came out as gay, I got kicked out of my parents house. I had to live with my sister because she supported me. A few months later people found out at my school that I was gay and I got beat up so bad to where I had to go to the hospital. 3 people beat me up with baseball bats, their hands and feet.
3 broken ribs on each side, broken wrist, leg, foot, black eye, got punched in the throat

But seeing as it is in a form of communication you gotta admit this is mighty impressive that the fact these two can stay on eye contact while listening to the Korean dude speak before they respond.

You should discuss the sad 1998 news story of Mathew Shepard. What happened to him really made close minded Americans take a close look at what kind of people they’re aligning themselves with. Things didn’t get better over night, of course, but it was definitely one of the moments that significantly moved gay rights in the right direction. RIP, Mathew Shepard 😢
yes! I remember this story! I watched the documentary. I really was good. It tore my heart out. Bully was also a good one to see. it's about kids being bullied and how they dealt with it.

People please don't believe what you see in movies Black Americans are not angry aggressive people we try to protect ourselves and will because the first law of nature is preservation of oneself. We have no qualms about dating outside of our race and we are very welcoming people to a social gathering we are considerate that if it's your first time we go out of our way to make you feel welcome, with food, conversation, we will teach you games that we play like Spades so you feel included. We give you as much food as you can eat and will invite you to dance with us so you don't feel left out especially in a BBQ! We are protectors, if you are a stranger in our home if someone is to bother you, they have to come through us to get to you. We are some of the best cooks and soul food will stick to your ribs and make you sleepy after eating it! The more you come around we treat you like family and if you want a beer, water, juice or sweet tea we will tell you, you can go in the refrigerator and get feel at home, and this is how true southern black people are!

These are a good group and I felt like I got to learn more about David. I have always been drawn to asian men and Sang Hoon is really hot but something about Von just draws me. He is handsome but has great personality and style. I faced being bullied most of my childhood and couldn’t wait to get out of school. The worst bullies were the black kids which I always thought was crazy since they of all people should know how unfair being stereotyped is. Once I was done with school i never faced it again really and I will never be in the closet for anyone. I think it is important to be public with holding hands and kissing. I know when I was a kid I would have loved to seen guys like that and the more people see it the less shocking it is. I feel awful for how the dating apps in USA use to have no blacks no fat no fem no asian. I can’t imagine what that must have been like for young gays just coming out only to find out they were not even wanted in the gay community. It’s a disgrace and should never be allowed.

It's so frustrating when people make assumptions based on my race or sexual orientation, but it's important to educate and raise awareness on these issues. The black gay people who face double oppression suffer heavily than others. It must be really hard to live in a racist society that promotes masculinity. I appreciate their valour to be openly gay and how they takes pride in being both black and gay.
